I thought this looks kind of fun but has horrendous reviews

But this music video….

Especially for Henry Cavill definitely not wanting to be part of it

Started out fun, but took FAR TOO MANY twists and turns, it got tedious.

Plus Henry Cavill is a bad actor who is dead behind the eyes, so I always get irritated by him. Wish I was watching Sam Rockwell the whole time when they kept flashing between the characters. Still, Bryce Dallas Howards was really rather good.

I have questions about that video. Is Henry Cavill in character there? Or is he just being unprofessional and BAD AT HIS JOB?

At the other end of the scale, Ariana DeBose performed the same awful song on Dancing On Ice at the weekend, with pure "mid-level girlband member making live TV debut of flop solo single in 2004" energy.

My good lady, you HAVE AN OSCAR. WHO IS ADVISING YOU?

How did it cost 200 million?!?! It makes The Color Purple look frugal.

it's paid for by Apple so they will consider it a big streaming draw. meaning it doesn't need to be profitable theatrically as having these movies is essentially great marketing for Apple TV.

still a massive BOMB! so disappointing that the man who did X-Men: First Class and Layer Cake is stuck in this increasingly pastiche CGI action-comedy rabbit hole. he can do better.

This was excruciating to watch. Its wild that the trailer made out Dua and Henry were the stars when they had a combined screen time of about 20 minutes. Catherine O'Hara had more screentime!

Bryce was awful, the visual effects were awful and the twists were signposted a good few days before they happen, and the mid-credit scene sets up further films with another much better franchise which fills me with DREAD.

Not to mention the plot twist was spoiled in a tweet announcing the film back in 2021 :D :disco:

There's a frankly bizarre and colourful shoot-em-up/skating scene near the end to the tune of Run sung by Leona Lewis, which was perhaps the best part.

There was alot of wtf faces after the credits rolled.
