Armie Hammer investigated by LAPD

I still can’t really take this in... is he a murderer or has he lost his job and projects because of a sexual fantasy he has?
 
WHY was he working on a construction site though? is he that straight-up broke?!
 
I believe he's the heir to an incredibly wealthy family, there's no chance he'll EVER run out of money.

The cannibalism fantasy was an added detail in the allegations of abuse from his ex partners, but unfortunately that's become the bigger story as it's more salacious/unusual.

He's also in 'Sorry to bother you', another QUITE GOOD film that goes OFF THE CHARTS insane in the last third and he has a MAJOR ROLE in that happening :eyes:

Does anybody else really struggle to recall what Arnie Hammer's face LOOKS LIKE? He's just such a generic "good looking" white guy to me his face just kind of fades from memory. Truly a human Ken doll, albeit a special psychopathic version.
 
He's definitely good looking, but in a nondescript way. He kinda resembles Hugh Grant. Who also looks like a Ken doll. But less moisturized.

According to IMDB he’s been in an episode of We Are Who We Are which I only watched a month ago yet I can’t remember seeing him in it at all.
 
I read a piece the other day on Armie Hammer's career basically illustrating how, for years and years, he'd basically been box office poison but got ENDLESS SECOND CHANCES.
 
I do often think the term "box office poison" doesn't really mean anything though - it's probably less that the audience, en masse, is turned off by him (when is this ever the case?), and more that his agents haven't been getting him roles in films people actually want to see. I mean, in the last 10 years he's been the lead male role in a film with a budget of 25m+ only three times, and many of his films have been critically panned. so in this case it just seems like nobody was casting him in great roles.

all of which will make it even harder for him ever to come back considering he was hardly IN DEMAND!

If I remember rightly he wrote a really whiny response about how that article was SO MEAN.
 
He’s just really hot and seemed to be in on the joke that he’s so white and rich hence his role in Sorry to Bother You

Apparently it was consensual at the time?
I have no idea, turns out it they were talking about it on latest episode of Bill Maher as part of the discussion on cancel culture.
 
OMG I just had a look at his twitter account (because I’m back on twitter looking for porn :eyes:) and apart from a couple of tweets on the DC events, his last two really are too :D poor guy!


 
Supposedly the LA Times story that was imminent has been dropped entirely, but another one will be coming early next week from a different publication
