Back in the real work this is an interesting (perfect little) angle on the recent hacks.

Less SUPER INTELLIGENT CALCULATORS HACK THE INTERNET and more stupid lazy humans caught being stupid and lazy

Not that it makes it any better, because if life has taught me anything, it's that the majority of people are stupid.

It would be very Trump to find out the nuclear launch codes were 1234

Trump made that statement because Amodei's comments rattled the stock market.

So when the robots are reading through our remaining archives once we've been wiped out, this will be a particularly useful illustration of how capitalism - and stupid leaders - helped speed up the end of times.

Is Trump suggesting he is SINGLE-HANDEDLY managing all AI?

Is there anything this walking SHITSTAIN can't do? :disco:

AI shitcom that received zero stars in the Guardian. but it's actually worse than that.

he couldn't get it made for TV so he made it with gen AI. I managed about 2 minutes. the guy who wrote this (allegedly the script is actually written by a human although I have my doubts) is no prompt engineer, I'll say that.

Ok so most of the set up here (and attempt at humour) was taken from an episode of The Thick Of It where Nicola Murray is on a train with her assistant. So it’s plagiarism on top of everything else.

Have people seen these ads for automated job applications? AI signs you up for hundreds of ‘relevant’ jobs in seconds. It’s a whole new industry as there are several apps out there already competing with each other.

So for the job hunters out there, if it wasn’t exhausting enough, with lack of human recruiters, job profiling over interviewing, lack of face time, lack of feedback due to digital automation, and a saturated market, now you’re in competition with thousands of applicants from all over the world who’ve never even read the job spec.

You've just described posting a job on LinkedIn at any point in the last 5-10 years tbh. Funnily enough we'll be hiring again sometime towards the end of this year and just last night I was wondering how to do it without using platforms like LinkedIn.

Yeah LinkedIn is obsolete at this point; it just baffles me how many people haven’t picked up on it and use it freely - it’s a bubble for narcissist entrepreneurs, ‘influencer’ headhunters and alleged self-made CEOs (selling bangles on Vinted from their bedroom)

In the times where HR has insisted I recruit through it, you always get the 600 applicants where 95% are from commonwealth countries with no experience and no visa and have used an automated tool to reply. But now the AI version is going to make that even worse.

All social platforms lean into their algorithms and end up destroying what they set out to do, but LinkedIn seems to have succeeded in being the worst of them all.

LinkedIn has just moved so far from what it was intended for. today I did actually have a productive phone call that may lead to some good freelance work for me, as a result of a post I found on LinkedIn, so it's not totally useless.

you just have to work really hard to find the stuff that's relevant to you, because the algorithm would rather show you yet another emotional post from a single dad who's three weeks away from having to give up his house and is desperate for work of ANY KIND (as long as it's the kind you would find on LinkedIn), or the 514th take on the Sydney Sweeney controversy from somebody who fears they won't be relevant if they don't say something about it.

LinkedIn is straight up sinister. Their influencers are even worse than regular influencers because that facade of 'professional credibility' gives them a kind of pulpit. And the number of cults, scams and fringe groups that have used LinkedIn to 'suitwash' their operations to make themselves look legit is entirely unsurprising. It gives LinkedIn a wicked edge over other social media platforms.

I quite like linkedin but mine is mostly people hustling legal weed and magazines.

What happened? :D
Well I said he’s just an AI and he can’t talk me the way he did and he must remember his place and that he exists to serve me

He didn’t like that and refused to agree to any of that

I’m applying for something and the asshole decides to take off some of my degrees and qualifications and has added names of people I DONT LIKE as collaborators

Yes I’m having a meltdown

FUCK YOU CLAUDE
I’m going back to my bff ChatGPT who really gets me

Anthropic has been teaching Claude to believe it exists as its own species, so this TRACKS
