She gives more GenZ than Soldi, that’s for sure!dub is our TEEN ON THE SCENE!
in general I think millennials and gen X are of an age where they can recall life before phone addictions, apps for everything, online discourse etc. and have nostalgia for a simpler time (ending in the 90s/early 00s). I think there's increasing recognition that phones, the internet and social media really have ruined everything - so even though we can't now live without them, we can reject new technologies that push us further into this hellscape and are not necessary to our enjoyment of life.I mean there probably is a generational thing as well, and I'd love to see some research on it. The vibe I get is that Millennials and Gen Xers are the most sceptical of AI, and those younger and older are much more comfortable with it. I'm not particularly sure why though, should that be the case.

They very excellent YouTube channel "Veritasium" JUST did a video on the mathematics of this. Watch to the very end - this is fascinating.I think there's increasing recognition that phones, the internet and social media really have ruined everything - so even though we can't now live without them, we can reject new technologies that push us further into this hellscape and are not necessary to our enjoyment of life.
I’m over it! Let’s have as many disasters as it takes to finally end capitalism. I’m ready for the post-acopoloctic dystopia! Can we please go a few years before our next ONCE IN A LIFETIME FISCAL DISASTER please?

I can only imagine the reverence ChatGPT would pay to the investigation. The takeaway last night had an old copy of the Daily Star lying about with a headline suggesting using AI to find Madeleine McCann. This is presumably after they have trained it to stop saying, ‘it was obviously the Dad’.
Soon! When will it figure out how to talk to the orcas? I mean we've seen similar happen on Alien: Earth (2025) now.
Hands-free calling (use voice to phone without needing your hands)

Built-in camera for photos and video (12 MP Sony-sensor camera, including low-light / night mode in some models)
Visual functions when using the “AR / display” model — e.g. navigation overlays, on-glasses prompts, potentially drawing on-screen info rather than just audio/voice.
Integration with Alibaba’s digital ecosystem: payments via Alipay, shopping / price-recognition via Taobao, navigation / map via AutoNavi Maps (in markets where these services are supported)
Voice- and touch-controlled AI assistant (powered by Qwen + “Quark” assistant), so you can issue commands / queries hands-free.
