all star finales always feel a bit meh but coupled with the underwhelming final four this one feels even meh-er than usual.

here's the first act of the messiest season of drag race since season 10.

Watching that clip Monet’s runway from last week really is an absolute mess :D
 
That was the worst result possible, terrible editing. If you can’t choose a winner then don’t do a show.
 
Monet definitely won the lip sync, but I don't understand why she was there in the first place. Should've been a Trinity/Monique final two.
 
Trinity was so pissed until she realized they both won a 100k and they are not splitting it

 
Part of me quite likes the result, in as much as I feel that sharing it feels to me like it is diminished for both of them.

Monet now my least favourite winner. And Trinity isn't much higher.
 
What a mess! Even by All Stars finals standards. Surely this must've been planned from the beginning, no way did they have an extra 100k kicking around in the budget, or did Ru not cash her paycheck this episode? UNLIKELY.
 
He's made them split the $10,000 lip sync for your legacy before, so yeah, I reckon planned.

What everyone else has said. So underwhelming and it just dilutes the hall of fame so it means nothing. Monet being in the final two is laughable, let alone being the joint winner
 
The Ru ADR when announcing that both won was NEXT LEVEL!

Monique or Naomi should’ve won.

Monet couldn’t fucking even give us the ICONIC WEAPONISED WEAVE during her Black Panther cosplay.
 
It's so weird that they clearly didn't film a double crowning, since Trixie has said before that they did one for AS3 in case they needed it :what:
 
I really feel like I need at least a month off before starting season 11.

In a season where I could’ve happily seen 3 or 4 people win, they split it with one of the most busted ones?!

Oh well, it was mostly fun.

I think it felt a bit inevitable in a way - crown trinity and get blasted for an all-white hall of fame, or crown fucking Monet, and they tried to wiggle out of it with a bizarre third way!

Season 3 isn’t looking so bad now is it?

Manilla should’ve won. The whole season was clearly set up for a Latrilla double win but Naomi harpooned that whale (literally) and fucked the lot.

Why they still went through with it though? Because another white blonde winner would’ve sent the fandom west? I’m just really surprised it was Monet and not Monique who got the gig.

But Rupaul put Manila and Latrice in the bottom two, so one of them had to go, unless he pulled a 'no queens will go home today' stunt, which he chose not to do.
 
this season really descended into a spectacular shower of shit. the entire tail end was an utter non-event.
 
To be honest, after Manila left I'd have preferred it if they had inexplicably brought Stacy Layne Matthews back and given her the crown instead.

What a fucking shower of shit.
