Yes, I'm sure they will wheel out Kameron Michaels and Brook Lynne, neither of whom we need to see again

In fact, they should only bring back Black Excellence queens to show us their lip-iconography :disco: plus Alyssa of course.

Yes, Peppermint is another assassin we need to see come back. Trinity and Sasha would be amazing too. I would love to see Shea face off against Sasha again, actually.
 
I was a bit on the fence about this new format (Allstars is self-referential enough as it is and it kind of seemed like overkill) but I’m totally sold now. It’s kind of like a video game end of level boss!

Anyway it couldn’t really have gone worse for Derrick and I’m delighted. :D

It was very typical of Ru to put 3 VERY tonally similar performances in the top this week, and overlook this moment of performance art mastery :disco:

Shea was also brilliant, but I think faltered slightly due to her subdued choice of backing track. If she’d played to the audience a bit more she could have won tbh.

Mayhem really FUCKED UP this episode. Her entrance look was a mess, and her performance really MISSED THE POINT as to why she was put on the show - her Drama performance is legit probably one of the most famous non-Drag Race drag performances...WHY would you not just go all in on it when given the opportunity :D
 
Blair St Clair is every queen who’s just moved to a big city from their shit hole home town and think’s they’re IT. The bitchy arrogant twink phase masking deep insecurity NEVER LASTS LONG.

Although I wish someone had cut mine A FEW YEARS SHORTER.
 
Yeah Cracker was a pleasant surprise. She actually DID SOMETHING.

Honestly, Season 10 trying to gaslight us that Kameron Michaels was some kind of lip sync assassin when all she did was whip out the same splits move three times in a row was a DARK PERIOD
 
Derrick claiming that he has anything more to show us than his tired Britney shtick is really embarrassing.
 
So pleased to have Bob still doing the Pit Stop.
 
That was INCREDIBLE. When the queens first came out I was rather nonplussed but my god what an episode and what a start!

Ongina :D What on earth was that talent show?! She just faffed about doing a little jig and by the end it was like she'd wandered on stage by mistake :disco: Such cannon fodder however and I'd be stunned if she gets much further which, in too many ways, would be a shame, such a fun little bitch and not even pretending she can compete.

Juju's reads were everything. As usual most were useless, but Blair was surprisingly great. Her singing talent show was upstaged by Juju however and I suspect the cunty defiant attitude will fall flat soon enough.

Mariah not being in the top was rather shocking, I'm glad Ricky Martin (who was also fab!) called it out.

The whole India/Derrick stuff feels rather cynically planned (the outcome, not the drama obviously), I really hope India bringing it the way she did WAS actually at least a little bit organic and not effectively "given" to her before she returns to nothingness but I'm doubtful.

Poor fucking useless old Derrick though, I almost felt sorry for him being dragged back for THAT. Then I remembered it's Derrick and every thing he said in that episode alone and his terrible, terrible impressions. And yet I didn't want the Derrickness to EVER END.

This was a perfect start and assuming things go to plan we have a couple of genuinely deserving winners lined up

Quite like the new twist as well, I think. I know Yvie is kind of hated, but even before she started lip syncing she looked like a proper winner there on stage - her drag looked fab and uniquely her and she won hands down. There's something off-putting about her but she owned that.
 
All Stars has a habit of screwing up right in the last minute of the season. They better not even try it this time.
 
The mystery lip syncher is such a brilliant idea. Gives us more ALL STARS :disco:

The first lip sync was always going to go to the assassin because they were always going to have a trick up their sleeves, especially as they only have one shot. The others surely must be able to realise that now though and go for it as well.
 
Also I wonder if Ongina will have a Latrice style arc this year. She should have been in the bottom but was clearly saved and I think that could go on...
 
Yeah I loved Ongina on her first season but despite the extra entrance outfit, it’s disappointing she’s not advanced much in 11 years. They should have got TAMMIE BROWN back instead.
 
What a revelation India turned out to be. One of my least favourite queens of all 12 series, and like most people I had assumed she was only there because someone needs to go home first. Wrong! :disco:

I actually think India won the lip sync, too. That runway slide into the second verse was an iconic moment, and she also managed to incorporate some latin rhythms into her movements, as well, to suit the track. Yvie just contorted herself into all the positions we saw from her in her season - the same movements she would have pulled out of the bag for any song given to them.

I was STUNNED how good India was ! I also assumed she was going to be out first week. Derrick going rightly so.
Loved Mariah in the performance. My favourite has to be Jujubee though, funny and talented She totally outsang Blair. oh and why the hell didn’t Blair do “Now or Never” or even “Call my life” or “Insatiable” which are better than that turgid shite she performed
 
Jujunee had the better song of the two, for sure. But Juju mimed and Blair performed live, which I thought went against Jujubee.

I really hope Jujubee makes it all the way to the final. I can't wait to see her perform in the comedy challenges.
