I mean it's not a particularly strong cast, in comparison to other All Stars. There's more filler queens

I thought that was strange and was wondering if it was deliberate or if it is another one of her clumsy accidents.

All Stars 2 had the best challenge order. Doing Snatch Game already on second episode, musical on a third and saving the acting challenge to fourth episode was smart.

I didn't think the challenge was that bad and the episode was perfectly entertaining.

Mayhem's always been a middling queen and the whole "OMG MAYHEM" thing a lot of the queens do comes across very fake and unjustified given her consistently sub-average performances on TV. Maybe she's a better bar queen, I don't know. Whatever.

The lipsync was a major disappointment of the episode for me actually.
 
It was a TERRIBLE episode. I hardly watched most of it, I was so bored I just sat on my phone. And how has no one mentioned the boy drag but in the SheMZ offices? Absolutely appalling.

I don’t think India deserved bottom two at all there and clearly she is being saved because people like her (which is surprising in itself). I actually thought Shea was shit again this week.

Ranking in terms of performance with my personal preference ranking in brackets:

2. Alexis (2)
3. Cracker (5)
4. Shea (3)
5. Blair (6)
6. India (4)
 
As a viewer of Miz on YouTube, it's quite amusing to see continously put her foot in it. Gutted she's chosen not to do commentary.
 
Obviously there’s something they aren’t showing us. The girls must have talked and decided on voting on Mariah and then Mayhem.

They may as well show us the scheming and deciding who they’re voting for a la Big Brother US or Survivor because they are clearly aligning together on their votes as you say.


The signposting of Mayhem leaving was just as obvious as the signposting of Jujubee winning last week. She had so much screen time it was ridiculous.

Personally I thought that Alexis was the weakest in the challenge, and Blair I completely forgot was even there. But whatever. I don’t really care that much.
 
Are they just going to keep India in every week? I think if I was one of the queens then I would, just to show how dumb the whole idea of them choosing between the bottom2 really is.
 
It must be noted Shea really played the game. She befriend one of the queens who voted for her and then the other one was eliminated.
 
If all goes as dramatic as we’d want it to go then someone who’s not India will probably go next and the episode after that no one is leaving, BUT we will have another LollapaRuza with Ongina lip syncing against Cracker and losing and Derrick against India and winning
 
The episode would have been improved immeasurably had they cut the straight men skit down to one little bit at the start and left it mostly to Carson. Mayhem has been the best to look at out of drag, but I'd still only say he was the discount of the season rather than trade.

Keep India and her fish teeth in for as long as possible. Outstaying her welcome (ie not going first) is probably the best thing she's ever done.
 
The challenge itself had great scope. I mean how much more PERFECT can a drag challenge get than a celebrity paparazzi meltdown? But most of the queens just AREN'T FUNNY. Not at improv anyway

But the lip sync?? She was completely blown out of the water by Morgan. The ‘tie’ win was a fucking joke (that obviously wouldn’t have been done had Cracker chosen India). Eugh it annoys me so much.

The past two seasons I've really been rooting for Bendela and Manila respectively. I can't say I'm really rooting for anyone this time, more AGAINST Cracker
 
I'm rooting for Alexis to give us an iconic Untucked, but on the main stage I'm only here for a Shea win. Juju did win that challenge, but she's lacking a true camera hogging flair to properly go for it. I did enjoy Raven not even wasting a breath before saying she looked cheap on last week's Fashion Ruview :D
 
Part of what made AS2 so good was that it was pretty much entirely solo or duo tasks, of which the queens wrote a lot of the material.

Why would you not just stick to that formula + that fabulous returning queens lipsync episode each season :D

We have Drag Race Canada to moan about coming on Friday too :D
 
Only just caught up on this as it’s hardly essential viewing, when the only star power comes from Morgan McMichaels you know there’s TROUBLE.
