It seems the final result has LEAKED so I would encourage vigilance among those of you who would rather not know as you surf the world wide web. :moira: (I won't be posting it here)
 
The thread title change :D:D (sorry to ruin the gag and all but the above post does not reveal the winner)

Anyway here's Act 1

 
This was a fun episode, good song and having the eliminated queens in the background and walking the runway made it less dull than what the final episode ends up being.

All three looked amazing on that final runway but Juju was spectacular. Out of the eliminated queens India and Mayhem looked the worse.

It was a foregone conclusion that Shea would win but I still had a tiny bit of hope for Juju.
 
Also looking now at Tyra’s Instagram, she had screenshots and everything.
 
It was a foregone conclusion but, in fairness, Shea absolutely deserved it based on the final- she was by far the best in both the challenge and the lip sync and looked gorgeous on the runway and just behind Juju, who really was absolutely spectacular. WTF was Cracker wearing in that lip sync- hideous! And not worth it for the shit gimmick which didn’t seem to really work. (Though shame again on the others for turning up to a finale without a gimmick).

Enjoyable episode overall- one of the better finales of recent times.
 
I think on balance this is one of the better AllStars seasons. There was a serious dip in the middle with some of the truly terrible acting challenges, but it really pulled back towards the end. Not a patch on S2 obviously, but better than S4 and maybe on a par with S3 - with the added benefit of a satisfying, if predictable, winner.

Decent series, agree there was a lag in the middle.

The narrative felt like it was going away from Shea winning in the finale episode, I get like Cracker and Juju came across as warmer, funnier, more engaging throughout and Shea did perform well in the challenge (both Juju and Cracker has better verses) but I enjoyed Cracker’s performance more.

Juju is still my winner though I have no objections to Shea’s induction into the hall of fame.

The one minute of air time Monet had once again proved she has no place in the hall of fame. What a doozy that double win was.

The drama section with returning queens was really fun, I could have watched a whole lot more of if it :D
 
Jujubee’s runway made me gasp :disco:

The CORRECT winner of course, and well deserved. I loved Shea’s runway too, it was stunning. Such a satisfying conclusion to an epic two-season story arc. Very similar to Alaska tbh.

For the non-finalist that got the furthest, I remember SO LITTLE of what Blair St Clair did in this season :D I honestly think her workroom entrance was her most interesting moment :D

I've forgotten her workroom entrance. The first thing that came to mind when I thought of her was her camo couture look.
 
A worthy winner indeed. She smashed the lip sync. Also Jujubee's RUNWAY :disco::disco::disco:
 
A good finale. And finally an AS where the actual mvp takes the crown (see AS3 and AS4).

Having said that, Juju is forever my winner <3
 
The season was similar to AS2 in that the winner was inevitable. As much as I love Alaska, Shea is a far more gracious and beautiful inevitably.
 
Shea’s monologue at the end of was really touching, he is such a lovely person.

Shea: hair and face were jawdropping; the rest I was expecting a reveal. From the Barbara Cartland collection I assume.
 
Carston showing his age now, and in a good way. He looked human in his close up waiting for Cracker to finish.
 
Shea's tribute to Ru was just lovely, but I also remember Pearl's story about Ru responding "nothing you say off camera matters" :D
 
What a top three. Cracker grew on me so much.

Jujubee is just amazing but Shea deserved it. She's class personified.
 
The Netflix thumbnail had Shea holding the fucking sceptre! I'd been spoiled but if I'd gotten this far without knowing... :manson:

Miz Cracker looked absolutely fucking abysmal in that lip sync. Jesus Christ :D

Juju's runway was sublime, but the right queen won. A Hall Of Fame with Monet X Change and no Shea Couleé doesn't bear thinking about
