London geography is so confusing.

It's out of the way of the main roads so it's got a small village feel, and because it used to be where most of the Docks were there was shitloads of massive warehouse space to convert into LOVELY SPACIOUS LUXURY APARTMENTS with a river view

Different type of ground that's harder to tunnel through and on average less developed and poorer. It's got loads of overground rail links though.

Friends of mine pissed all their money away on a fancy flat in Wapping. It's absolutely tiny and comes with a load of amenities they don't use. Then they got locked down together and I think they regret it now.

I'd absolutely kill for a flat in Wapping. There are some gorgeous 1930s London County Council-built estates a little further in.

We once stayed in a hotel near Tower Bridge and it felt like the end of the world. But that’s because everything we did during that weekend was more in West end(?).
