This happens when you host. You end up liking the weirdest things.
 
I do appreciate the fact that someone interpreted the dance theme in an original way. Variety is the spice etc.

Also I will say to everyone that while I don’t mind doing this, and I know not everyone can be available all the time, turnout and engagement for ASFM is really low at the moment and yet so many people still want to play and participate. But it’s give and take. It feels like only about 5 people have even listened to Part 1 yet. I can only do so much to keep it going. Most of moopy survives nicely in a completely passive way but ASFM needs a bit of support to work as it takes the hosts a lot of time.

we could just end the syncs and put the music up for people to listen to in their own time. Something to PONDER.
 
Apologies funké! I know what it feels like to not feel like you're getting much back and I'm aware I myself have been rather silent on the whole thing, so apols. I'm just not around much this week, but will give the playlists a listen.

I did enjoy reading thread 1 back yesterday, I do agree that maybe in future events sticking the playlists up might make more sense. But we need COMMENTS.

Be More @ButterTart to be the new ASFM slogan please.
 
Yes I don’t mind just throwing up the playlists in a big reveal but I 100% agree that people should contribute even a little, even in their own time, to make this feel like more of an inclusive competition. It adds to the overall enjoyment and build up.

I’m up for POINT PENALTIES for anyone who doesn’t leave some sort of playlist review :D
 
For this round though I WILL still do a part 2 sync this week because I already did part 1 and it wouldn’t be fair.
 
I’d be sorry to see the end of the syncs. They do add something, even if there turn out to only be four or five people there. I suspect that attendance may have been hurt by the way that we have had the entire British summer this week.
 
Sorry @funky - I’ve been busy in the evenings with mum and I’ve literally just got home. And then during the day I’m working and I’ve been trying to stay off Mopsy. I’ll be around tomorrow evening though. I’ll try to listen to Part One before then!
 
Your efforts are much appreciated @funky I’m playing a tournament this week so schedule depends on if I win or not and when my next match is then scheduled so I’m all over the place but looking forward to the playlists and like reading the comments on catch up.
