Welcome to my first hosting gig of A Song For Moopy. :)

It is my responsibility to host this next contest, hopefully with the most smooth and professional organisation to come (HA!).

There is no particular theme for this edition of ASFM when it comes to songs. Here is how it will work:

1. Decide on a song. Your song will be credited to you at the end of the competition when I reveal who sent what.

2. Your nominated avatar must be a Gif. Ideally, aim for a Gif that links somehow to Moopy icon or an emotion Moopy evokes within you.

3. However, your GIF WON'T be the one representing you. Instead it will go to another randomly selected user and they will use it as their Avatar for the edition. Feel free to use this information to be as generous, mischievous or outright MOOPY TRAUMA INDUCING is as you wish. :disco: Just remember I will reveal who picked what gif at the end of the game. :D

4. Your song must be available on both YouTube and Spotify.

5. Nothing Eurovision or American Song Contest related, including any National Finals please. Let's save that for May. :P

6. Carrying on from Point 5, the choice of your entry otherwise is entirely up to you.

This is either going to be a very laidback edition or a potential Pandora's Box that I've opened of chaos. :D

You aren’t in any way concerned by the fact that all gifs are the work of Satan?
 
Can't believe I went with my planned May/June entry, but the GIF element threw me off guard. I'm expecting top 10 as it's my strongest entry yet and absolutely no one is ready for this spoken word death metal ballad.
 
Dear @Haiku - presumably rule 5 is songs rather than artists?

So I could enter Sam Ryder but not SPACE MAN, for example?

yes, ESC and ASC artists are eligible with different songs. Just not their Eurovision or American Song Contest (or National Final) songs.
 
Don't forget to tag bitches. Harassment is par for the course.
 
If I win I'm doing a Bev and bowing out of the franchise. Luckily I don't see that happening with any of my reserves except 6 of them.
 
I've just looked in the previous events/asfm forum and can't find a thread for all previous entries? I thought I had seen the list in either the world or xmas ones, but I have a fear my wonderful entry has already been submitted.
