Yeah, exactly. The recaps are much appreciated from those who take the time out to do them but I’m not sure why it’s a sticking point when the Spotify list is basically a recap too.

Yes but the actual recaps are so well made and the production values add further to the excitement.
And it's usually the best bits from the entries that get selected for the recap whereas the Spotify snippets are sometimes the worst possible choice.

The Diddyvision one is definitely my favourite, you really got the chaotic Japanese TV vibe nailed.

I do love recaps, it’s just exciting to see all the best snippets together, and your own entry up there so proud. I might even say it’s my favourite bit of ASFM (mainly because the only bit left is the results and I do awfully)

And because it’s like Eurovision, it tricks me into being more excited because I feel the voting is happening RIGHT NOW
