Well, post-festivities ennui has clearly hit.

MORNING (just).

Bugger! Was wearing my nightwear (like a fleecy thing and some joggers), and went to run a bath. But picking up the plug chain I knocked the tap (it’s like a handle you pull up) and switched on the shower behind me which sprayed my arse with cold water

Not back to normal here. Most places are still closed. I need to send my phone off to the insurance company but guess that will have to wait until tomorrow.

Just getting up. My last day off and no way was I going to miss being in bed until midday.

Hi Moopy.

I've just read something that says people stop kissing with their tongues at around 57 Years old.

And I remember a friend of mine who is 49, saying she never kisses her husband with tongues.

Is that normal 🤔 I mean I don't tongue daily, but I do still do it. Am I a teenager 🤔

Does your friend have dentures? or bad breath? I can’t imagine things will improve on those fronts as you advance in years

I don't think she has either of those.

I'm now intrigued as to whether couples stop using tongues after a few years tho.

I’ve returned to work to find these masterpieces in passive aggression stuck up EVERYWHERE in the area. There must be at least 10 :D

I've been back at work since the 29th and am so glad I got the post-Christmas ennui out of the way already.

Tbf I need this please. There's a grand total of about 8 people on this floor and I've had comments on calls about it sounding "busy" here. It's not, it's just one man sitting about 30 feet away from me who doesn't have an inside voice and is repeating to everybody his woes about his jetlag and not having an ETSA for America...

We've been together 14 years and still have a proper snog.

I'm so glad I went away for NYE to avoid having a massive comedown this week only to get ill and be on the sofa under a blanket.

Should have done 10 pills instead.

Ugh back to work but no one seems to have logged in yet. I should start sending emails just to prove my existence.

On the plus side, I've heard Ms Ron have the same 'good Christmas?' conversation 5 times today. I have spoken to no one.

I think this has to do more with whether someone's is getting tired of their partner rather than age and also how much free time they have to actually fuck.

I've got a MS Teams meeting first thing with about 6 people I only know professionally, and then quite vaguely. Already dreading the small talk before it starts. Need to think of something to nip it in the bud quickly.

Just turn your camera off and mute your mic/speakers until the meeting starts proper then jump in and apologise for having a technical issue

Just a lovely extended lunch with mother dearest.

Now I'm off to try out the soup maker. Honestly I'd have made an amazing housewife.

This is the one I have! My only struggle with it is not being able to get the lid on when there's too many chunky veg in there.

Anyway, what soup are you making?

Also, after a few minutes it stops and blends, really loudly, scares me and heathcliff every time.

Vegetable soup. Carrot, leak, onion and chickpea. Do you CUT YOUR VEG UP?

I finally used my soup maker the other week and it was *chef kiss* (though stopped working half way through)

I'm really struggling to find a job :(
