Back to work Monday

It's relatively light, but everything is covered. It won't melt as the temperatures are staying below zero. By Wednesday, with the next predicted snow fall, this will all be frozen.

Still it looks pretty now.

We had another light DUMP overnight. I've just been and had a coffee in the sun on the balcony, its very pretty.

Took me forty minutes to defrost the car this morning. When I arrived at the client's office I was supposed to be calling at on the way to work he'd had to leave already to go to a job.

A very light dusting only here. And it has disappeared already.

Is it lunchtime yet?

Ahh turns out there was another woman (re my mate who dumped recently). It never fucking changes.

I was wrong. It's melting.

It’s a shame (though obviously quite right) funeral selfies aren’t a done thing on social media cause I fucking love this new suit…

I’m just north of the city and there’s a light dusting on the ground, but it might just be ice, so not 100% sure. We’ve obviously missed any at all, as usual…

I was back to work last week. I’m so glad I work from home 100% of the time now that it’s winter. The only problem seems to be now that if I do have a night out or a very rare office day I seem to easily pick up a pesky cold.

It’s dry, crisp Sunny and freezing here today. The sun being out does put quite the spring in your step and everything is all white and pretty and so quiet up here in the sticks. It is all so calming sitting here with a macchiato looking out on the stunning countryside.

Little moments like this really are the best.

All things considered, I've had a triumphant return to the grind today. Long may it continue.
