Baked Beans Sunday

My favourite part of beans is the bean juice! Mr F will eat beans cold, straight out of the tin, which is all kinds of wrong. When we have beans on toast I have mostly bean juice and he has mostly beans.

Got out of bed at the crack of dawn on a Sunday morning for a PT session and my PT hasn’t turned up :square:

Also baked beans are DISGUSTING.

The like was for the baked beans hate NOT for your unpunctual PT.

Does anyone else think baked beans are better without all that gloopy sauce on them, they are much better without and a touch of black pepper on top
Just buy tinned haricot beans then.

I do quite enjoy baked beans, but they definitely do need something to savoury up them a bit. I usually rely on smoked paprika, Worcestershire sauce, or a blob of Marmite.

I hope you’ve sent him (presuming it’s the biggest beefcake you could find) passive aggressive messages around how disappointed you are

Spaghetti Hoops taste different to straight. This is a hill I am willing to die on.

Yes, only two so far. I was shocked as well, as I haven't seen them open anywhere else.

They are in the patch just in front of the window, which is very well sheltered. Down at the front they are barely poking through.

AKA sauce

There is nothing worse than undercooked baked beans. I prefer them stewed for a while until the sauce has turned gloopy.

Spaghetti hoops > baked beans, but I love both. And for HOOPS, don’t be fooled by Heinz- they’re shite. Too watery. You want Tesco’s value range whatever it is now or Waitrose.

I love a bit of cold bean juice while the beans are cooking

Oh no, my baked beans have to be firm. But obviously hot.

If a bean goes too soft, I only want them in a stew where they soak up other flavours. Or in the case of butter beans, mashed with lemon juice and olive oil.

I love baked beans and spaghetti hoops
Heinz or not I don’t mind
I tend to spice them up anyway with a bit of Worcester sauce and Tabasco etc plus loads of cheese

MMM CHEESE
