We're off to Ludlow today. Somewhere I haven't been since an A Level geography field trip in 1988.

I remember the castle, lots of cheese, and precious little else.

Going to attempt to cross the bay today and go to Studland beach.

Does Studland still have a naturist beach? I think that's the only one in the UK I've visited. By chance, obviously.

It does! I've never been, despite living here almost 20 years.

I’m thoroughly enjoying not being at work. They keep texting me and I just ignore it :heathcliff:

Just climbed 200 odd steps up a church tower for the (splendid) view, but my smart watch only registered it as TWO FLOORS

FUMING

That drives me potty, it's so unfair, a flight of stairs should be fifteen stairs maximum! When I used to take Ridley on the long long walk it was down a massive steep hill and back up again on the way home but because the hill was so steep Fitbit thought it was stairs so all I'd get was four flights of stairs instead of over 1000 steps. If I wanted the stairs I'd have gone up the train station steps and had a nice leisurely flat walk home after that!

I usually get steps and floors. I get five or six usually just walking up through the wood behind my house to the bus stop most days. I was sure I'd get at least ten for climbing the church tower

Nice views though

A colleague who has spent all afternoon posting pictures on Facebook of them being out having drinks suddenly can’t come into work tomorrow morning :eyes: It comes after someone else last month practically announced they were due some sick leave because the weather was good.

People just don’t give a shit do they? :D

Home alone so I've decided to finally watch Challengers and despite an early on scene with trying to get the gays onside with an unnecessarily haughty massage scene, I'm so far BORED and our soundbar is on some setting where the talking is really quiet and the music really loud and I don't have my tech correspondent to sort it for me.

PRAYERS PLEASE

Seen a lot of flags out today. Is the word cup on?
If by ‘Is the World Cup on?’ you mean ‘Have racists found a new way to pretend they aren’t racists, whilst simultaneously being racist?’, then, yes.

Someone painted a red cross on a mini roundabout here. I assume half of the cars in the village now have red tyres.

I’ve not seen anyone stick a red and white flare up their arse yet so we’re not at the end of lockdown/Euro 2020 levels of pandemonium.

As soon as I see one of those mini roundabouts, I plan to sneak out in the night with my own red paint, add four new crosses and turn it into the flag of Georgia.

I don't think i would have seen any in the course of my daily life, but i did do a lot of driving around the North East today. Seen flags tied to many things, roundabouts painted and all that nonsense.

I saw some tied to a bridge on the M6 and my first thought was when they blow off in the wind onto someone's windscreen going 80mph

Not a brain cell to be found
