it will inevitably be good whether it's more commercial or less. at least that's what history would bet on.

love it! I don't think we'll ever get another song quite on the level of Beggin For Thread from her (it is, let's face it, one of the best ever) but this is an enjoyable moody and mildly deranged bop and I'll take it

Look What You’re Doing To Me is the standout.

I also got tickets to see her in November.

It took 2 or 3 listens but I really like the album start to end and I can't say that about either of her previous efforts. The first 6 tracks from Till Now to Sawzall are especially strong. My absolute favourite is Propaganda which is a sultry gem in the extreme. Quite excited to live with this album a bit.

It's another TRIUMPH

It does feel a tad overproduced and some songs can get a bit too chaotic and industrial sounding (which I get she was going for) I can't work out if I need to invest in a better pair of headphones to fully appreciate it

Godless is the standout for me.

I listened to it tonight (while admittedly quite stoned in the evening sun so I'm not sure if it counts) and can confirm this is an outstanding body of work and that this Banks is perhaps more for me than the old one. Maybe it counts double actually.

It's taken me a while to accept the fact that another Beggin' For Thread is not coming. But that is like the holy grail of '10s pop to me (Jark top 100 of the decade so far commencing soon ).

This album really is HOT SHIT Fab production, and real shades of Channel Orange and Tove Lo (particularly the latter on Godless)

Contaminated and Propaganda really are extraordinary songs. We are not worthy.

I’ve basically not stopped playing Contaminated over the last few days.
