Back in the UK Spotify chart at #193. Great to see it back, and on the busiest day of the week.
 
It is a busy week so I haven't given the whole album my attention but One Day really is tit-clenchingly good:

 
I've been rinsing Sad Girls a lot lately, even if it's just cheap euro trash (usual business for David Guetta, mind you), and it reminds me of the JLO song Save Me Tonight, but somehow, Bebe's involvement elevates it.
 
I was thinking yesterday...

Lizzo spent weeks making TikToks crying, blaming fans, and playing the victim, claiming the music industry had changed so dramatically since her last album (as if streaming suddenly appeared in 2023). Meanwhile, she barely seemed willing to acknowledge the people who actually supported her.

Poor Bebe's numbers probably aren't that far off from what Lizzo sold, but honestly, this is a nice surprise. Good for her. At least Bebe doesn't come across as a RUDE BITCH who's openly dismissive of her audience or forgets to thank the 3,000 people who actually went out and bought her music.
 
New Religion is up to #6 on Apple Music :o

Might be enough for it to re-enter the chart (it’s on ACR sadly), though the lack of love on UK Spotify might prevent it.

It’s certainly been her biggest hit in an age though which is good to see.
 
Obsessed with her pausing between her three-second-long musical numbers to give Alexangelista and Jaden advice on their love lives... The producers said "you can come on, but only if you advance the plot." :(
 
New Religion got its biggest ever day on Spotify on Saturday, up to 915k (day one back in March or April was just on 900k).

Certainly becoming quite the little hit for her :o
 
82m streams and counting is very decent indeed. chart peaks aren't bad either

also #1 on Ukrainian airplay :disco:
 
Even the UK it only made #41 (good for her to be honest) but it spent eleven weeks between #41 and #52. And it’s still top twenty on Apple Music, just ACR has sent it packing from the actual chart sadly.
 
I want her and Ava Max to do well but honestly who needs them
 
I hope she can pivot from this into a proper album
