Bells on Sunday (1 Viewer)

in MY DEFENCE, the list on the front page hadn't been updated when i posted

so the blame here lies with unmadison for being SLACK

You could get off on a technicality. Can women be knaves?

I would like to retract 'She's A Rebel' in honour of British actress, Bel Powley

In my UNMODERATED DELIGHT at being nominated for the position of ROYAL ARBITER OF THE BELL I would like to point out that BEL POWLEY is a REPETITIOUS BELL

God save the Queen and Sir David BOWIE

Why most of the tags deleted except for 'shut up pop!'? CONSPIRACY.

SAD ANNOUNCEMENT

Due to other commitments, I, Sir David BOWIE, am unable to continue as Royal Arbiter of the Bell. I have been to the palace and informed Her Majesty that I intend to resign as soon as a replacement can be found.

I invite my fellow members of the Bells On Sunday fellowship to nominate replacement Arbiters, afterwhich I shall prepare a short list and put it to the vote.

These last few months have been the happiest of my life. I wish my successor good luck on the never-ending quest to numerate all Bells.

With a love that will echo down the ages,
SDB xxx

This is sad news, but i guess we were lucky to have you for so long in the first place. Thank you for all your hard work Sir David. I am currently playing bell number 63 in tribute.

I nominate TurnerPrize, since he's an Order of the Bell. Star probably has other commitments anyway and would neglect the bell.

I am very flattered POP! , but i don't think i would be up to the job. I nominate Bella Emberg, Linda Bellingham, and David Bellamy as the new arbiter. I know none post on Moopy, but i am sure they could be contacted.

I think we need an impartial celebrity really. The great Morgan Freeman is a Moopy member, but he isn't bell related and the recent, er, family issues may bring Bells on Sunday into disrepute.

I'm sure Kylie Minogue OBE could expand her brand into bells, if she was convinced...

Nominations so far:

Sir Cliff Richard
Dame Geri Halliwell
TurnerPrize OB
Dame Annabel Croft
Donna Winter
Sir Beldar Conehead
Bella Emberg
Linda Bellingham
David Bellamy
Morgan Freeman
Matt Bellamy

Will it be up to the next arbiter sort out the numbering issues on the last page? A few of POP!'s rejected bells seem to have been taken as allowed by jonathan when he posted his bell, which has titted things up a bit.

These are tough times for Bells on Sunday, we should all stay strong.

If you think that's bad, I'm worried about Bell No. 377

I'd like to thank the outgoing Royal Arbiter of the Bell, Sir David Bowie, for all his hard work and dedication to the cause. You will be missed Sir David.

Can you be nominated for the position unmadison? Or do you have a separate bell related title?
I guess I was the unofficial first Arbiter before Sir David's appointment.

I can be nominated. Anyone can.

As my final nominations i would like to nominate unmadison, and also Josef Fritzl because he has very good organisational skills.

I'd also like to nominated Sarah, Duchess of York. I like her style.
