I went with a top 3.

Pure Shores (that oooh oooh oooh moment swooshes through me like a euphoric colonic irrigarion)

Black Coffee (chronic interrogation from Shaz Bags: "freeze the moment" is such a line and yes I know it's a cuvah)

One Woman Man (unintentional hilarious verse 2 aside, this ain't goin' nowhere - it's their Bittersweet Symphony moment that never was)
 
I am so glad they came back a few years ago

One Strike, This is a War and One Woman Man are all excellent additions to their back catalogue

Its just superb isn't it - Because One Strike is so good; I kinda wish they kept this back for the first single from 'Testament'

Love this live perf too - so much passive-aggressive ANGST! :disco:

 
I stuck to three. Pure Shores and Black Coffee, I can never decide which of these I prefer. Third choice was After All which is pure All Saints in sound too.

Natalie's vocals are just a dream. She is embarrassingly superior to the other 3 (although I guess Nicole balances the 2 competing teams).
 
It makes me sad how cruelly overlooked After All was :(

Its gorgeous isn't it - if it was released after Pure Shoes and Black Coffee it would be right up there in the scheme of things. All Saints and William Orbit at their best.
 
Early data-collection tells me One Strike is doing VERY WELL early on - that was an amazing comeback and the only reason 'One Woman Man' shouldn't have been the comeback.

I am sure SHAZ-BAGS states she got the lyrics from Nicole crying down the phone when she found out Liam G was cheating :(
 
You know Black Coffee took about 15 years before it finally clicked with me. I adore it now.

As much as it's their imperial era, I could happily never hear any of the big hits from the first album again really.
 
Loving Ags vote for Love Lasts Forever. Its a technically very good song; can't help thinking it was a damp squib though imo
 
Rock Steady, whilst not their usual sound, was a good comeback and I am eternally impressed by the video. Don't make them like that anymore

I have seen them live a few times over the last 5 years and this is a really good gig song with a band

 
Love Lasts Forever is a bit TOO CLOSE to Dua Lipa’s Be The One, they really should have come back with After All.

God I love them SO MUCH :disco: People seem to think I’m being DELIBERATELY CONTRARY when I say I vastly prefer All Saints to Spice Girls IRL, but for me their back cats are not even comparable :disco:

So many SHOULD HAVE BEEN singles too :disco: - On and On, Distance, Dreams, Saints and Sinners etc etc

I always felt All Saints and Eternal were a better link if both very different than All Saints and Spice Girls. I understand the reasons though as AS and SG timelines overlapped more. Eternal were my faves of the three.

Yes and if you see the early RAW spice videos that is what Spice girls were meant to be. All Saints and Eternal were London based bands too that knew eachother, or at least a few members did, before forming. I think that played a part in their sounds. But then it just blew up for SG, and they had no choice but to ride the wave..
 
The Spice Girls were shouting at the boys playing football, All Saints (or Shaz n' Mel) behind the sheds smoking, and Eternal were in the library studying (the bible "lol").
