I did this a few years ago but she's had a couple more since. God love her, she's really grown up with the contest.

Igår, idag (3rd, 2001)

Hela världen för mig (5th, 2003)

Du och jag möt världen (8th, 2005)

Vågar du, vågar jag (7th, 2007)

Empty Room (2nd, 2008)

I'm In Love (4th, 2011)

Undo (SWEET JESUS FINALLY A WINNER, 2014)

She's finished in every position but 6th, 9th and last. :david:

Tough choice between Hela världen för mig, Du och jag möt världen, and I'm In Love for me.

It's easy to forget that she's "grown up with the contest" considering she already looked about 34 in her first one.

I started off thinking how the FUCK I was supposed to choose between Hela världen för mig and Vågar du, vågar jag - until I realised there's NO QUESTION. The last minute of Vågar is the POWER OF SCHLAGER DISTILLED, an all-encompassing force compelling Sanna to insert exclamation marks after each syllable belted :disco:

I! DAG! FINNS! BA! RA! JAG! OCH! DU!

Sanna hates VDVJ, the bitch!

It's my favourite, but I think Undo is her best song and entry.

I love VDVJ, but I can see why she doesn't. It *is* just a cheap Evighet rip-off, and came at what was probably the lowest ebb of her career.

"Hela Världen För Mig" is the ULTIMATE schlager song, surely?

Well, that and "Let Your Spirit Fly", natch :disco:

That first one is MUCH MORE BORING than Ellen from this year... I'm not sure I can sit through 6 more..!

Vågar du, vågar jag without a doubt! Evighet ripoff or not, it's MAGNIFICENT :disco:

I also really love.. well, I really love all of them except for Igår, Idag, which I still think is pretty good.

God bless her. :D

Hmmm...not sure here. I LOVED Vågar at the time but it IS a bit BASIC. I think maybe Hela världen för mig, or Empty Room. OR maybe Undo. Oh I dunno, it's like choosing between my children!

Hela världen för mig, I'm In Love and Undo are my favourites.

She was dreadfully styled up until Empty Room.

The Kempe duet still gives me the creeps.

I'm feeling all SANNA'D UP today; are any of her albums worth bothering with?

She's never made a balls-to-the-wall Schlager opus, but 'Stronger' is a pretty good MOR pop album and Nara Dig, Nara Mig is quite pretty.

I'm currently very much enjoying her 2006 rejected MF entry (Bless her, she'd do it every year if she could) 'Vagen Hem'.

lol 2006

Sanna was initially supposed to sing "Evighet", but was ditched by SVT because they wanted Carola instead. Oops.

Could explain why she hates VDVJ.

Stronger and I'm In Love are both great pop albums. Quite heavy on the ballads but they are all nice.

Her Undo EP is great, I am hoping for a full length album, and with her MF win I think we will get one soon. Her material has definitely improved since she made the switch to English in 2008.

I never bothered with the I'm In Love album, although I did rather like 'Devotion'.

I got a signed copy of "I'm In Love" which was PRETTY BRAND SPANKING NEW off thatsentertainment.co.uk a fortnight ago for £2.99....

There are some really nice songs on it. "Can't Stop Love Tonight", "Demolition Woman" and "Foolish Heart" are my favourites.

I really hope we get another studio album and not another Greatest Hits, which would be the easy option.

Very few MF artists this year are releasing albums - we have YOHIO and Helena, but I remember when we'd get LOADS of them. :(

Yeah I noticed that too. I fear the Swedish albums market is now so dead it isn't even cost-effective to record them. :(

Sanna is going to have a new album out at some point, she had a concert in her hometown last night and talked about it there. Got to meet her afterwards too.

Cool. What did she say? She is so tall, and it doesn't help she wears huge heels and then towers over everyone else!

She didn't say anything about the content as such or even the release date, just about how we could pre-order it etc.

Yeah she is massive! She was sitting down this time but the other time I met her a few weeks after MF2011 she was almost as tall as me with the heels (and i'm 6"4!) Seeing Sonja Aldén later today and if I recall correctly she's even taller :swede:

I'm having a SANNA morning for no reason whatsoever.

Hela världen för mig might just be the most UPLIFTING schlager anthem of all time (this week).

Allting finns FRAMFÖR MIIIIIIIIIIIG!
Ser en dörr öppna SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIG!

QUEEN!

(Well, minor dignitary, but a likeable one)

Really all corking (bar the first one) and I have such fond memories of all of them.

*mists over*

"Hela världen för mig" is actually what got me into Melodifestivalen/Eurovision though when my friend played it one night after a big evening at the Brewers. I assumed it had won the whole shebang because it was just THAT GOOD :D

It was the first year I became aware of MF too, thanks to Alcazar's involvement. I assumed, being HUGE STARS with a TRACK FOR THE AGES, that they would walk it and I've ONLY JUST come around to Fame as a result.
