She was a bit shit too.

What's the point in having a crappy crew member that dies after 7 years and only grows flowers?

The characters weren't generally all that interesting in Voyager. It had a good story though, kept me vaguely intrigued.

I like The Next Gen, then Voyager then the Original Series. Locutus of Borg is my favourite though. I was once :geek: enough to have him as my computer background.

Ooooh DS9 all the way!

It did have some dodgy moments, and I agree about the Sisko barking thing, but overall it was a sophisticated, complex human DRAMA that just happened to be set in the future with aliens and all that shit.

Some stunning episodes aswell.

Deep Space 9's excitement levels are in direct inverse proportion to Sisco's hair and waistline.

I fancied him LOADS

There was some nice BULGE action in the pilot if I remember correctly.

I don't think I ever fancied a Star Trek character.

Lets face it, they clearly didn't make much of an effort to enlist MALE totty...

I suppose Tom Paris and Dr Bashir were ALRIGHT...

If there was anything worth watching Enterprise for (there wasn't) it was

Surprisingly hard to find topless shots of him... Oh and not forgetting

I liked the fact that DS9 was different to all the other Star Trek series.

It was okay to miss an episode of the other series and you still could follow the show. You weren't missing something.

DS9 was different. You had to follow nearly every show, cause of the plot. It was much more about politics. I loved it.

The other series were travelling around the universe. Every show had a different place and story. Sometimes people or troubles from past shows were coming back, but overall each episode had it's own plot.

Oh Star Trek is SO amusing now. I loved it as a kid, ST:TNG was AMAZING.

And I loved when the DS9 music changed and it went all dark (well, dark in a Stra Trek kind of a way).

AND KAI WINN WAS BRILL

DS9:

War episodes = good
Religion episodes = bad

Any Star Trek series:

War/sci-fi episodes = good
culture = bad

The first episode I ever watched properly was the one with the warp bubble Crusher was trapped in, and everyone kept disappearing.

Has anyone gone so [geekily] far as to buy any of the series DVD sets? I was never really a Trekkie but I am sorely tempted with TNG, particularly since Amazon appear to be selling them at £14.99 a pop.

It's a shame SkyOne stopped screening episodes years ago.

My housemate has all of TNG on DVD, inspiring this thread!

YES! Best decison EVER getting rid of her!

Oh, I recognise her. How long did she last before she was replaced?

ewwwwww

she smells

Oh... and I got the Voyager series on DVD from eBay but it turned out to be a fake and Paypal gave me my money back. The fact I have it and it was essentially free makes me feel slightly less geeky

How was she CAST in the FIRST PLACE?

They nearly went with Ryker's clone before they found Mulgrew.

Virgin 1 are showing DS9 at 8pm every weekday. Tonight was Trials and Tribbleations... I think

I can't believe we have so many Trekkies on here :D

I remember watching 'The Trouble with Tribbles' when I was younger, I really wanted a Tribble :(

I'll take Trials and Tribbleations over shonky old Sarek any day. Funny how that orb never gets used again despite its ridiculous power.

It's Geneviève Bujold. She only lasted about a week if she was lucky.

Of course!

Bit old to play Janeway though wasn't she?

As for Kate Mulgrew, I remember her from those Cheers episodes. She had that husky voice even back then.

I don't mind shonky TNG episodes actually. They bear much less scrutiny than later Star Trek series.
