Tricky Stewart, who only did some posthumous remixes for him (the good ones that never got released), but I don't get the Dangerous vibes at all.
Interesting! Did he have anything to do with Xscape?

It could be the 90s beats, but that might just be Crystal Waters.

He did the better version of 'Slave To The Rhythm' that leaked online but they used some shit from Timbaland instead for the official release. I think he was behind the better non-official version of 'Do You Know Where Your Children Are' too.

Can you link me up? I don't know Slave To The Rhythm, but Do You Know has a great melody (despite everything else about it :D)

one has to admire The-Dream's versatility! From barely there beats, to limp finger clicks, TO THIS!

My guess is the second single will surely be something more URBAN to bring back whoever goes off her while the album will have 3-4 similar dance tracks at the most and a couple of Sia reject ballads :( :evil:

Love this now

It really does absolutely nothing new but hey ho!

It’s got a meaty rhythm which I’m thankful for. No more TINNY BEATS thank fuck. You can’t do that with house (though some have tried)

Apparently she’s credited the Robin S producers on the track :D why? It’s not a sample. And they weren’t the first to use the Korg M1 organ hook, even if they were probably the most famous.

Very fun, but very...dumb. I agree, zero originality. But I hate it when Beyonce tries to be original. I'll take this Beyonce any day.

I do like it. It’s quite an ear worm and whilst I do want MORE from her this is more of a return to gay form than we’ve had in a long time so I’ll take it.

I was thinking how what I really want from Queen Bey is a whole album where every song samples something from 90s female black house. Get her on the CeCe, the Crystal Waters, the SABRINA JOHNSON :disco:
You weren't FAR OFF with this!

You won't BREAK MY SOUL
You won't BREAK MY SOUL
You won't BREAK MY SOUL

And this is track 6 on the album, which surely means that the rest of it sound JUST LIKE THIS

@VoR, I think we're in for a PARTY :disco:
