Big Brother USA (1 Viewer)

What I've learnt so far:

Todrick is as awful as I expected. Miesha isn't very likable either.
I thought Carson was going to be OTT from the first minute and I wasn't gonna stand him, but he's actually nice and funny.
There's no way I'm watching Marry me, looks like the worst movie ever :zombie:
 
I am not watching this but looking at updates on this thread - why is Todrick so unlikable please?
 
Is this Shanna as fabulous as she seems? People seem to have loved her in the game

Same, I can't stand the Todrick-Miesha show anymore.

BB Canada starting in 1 week, btw.
 
Every single evicted houseguest talking shit about Todrick in every interview after just a few hours outside speaks volumes about how awful he is. His face when he gets no votes at all is all I want to see in this terrible season.

Yeah BB is different there in that the jury of evicted players decides who wins so they’re voting for the winner out of Todrick and the woman beside him.

Yeah, evicted houseguests are the jury and they vote and decide the winner. In the Celebrity version they go home and can watch everything that happened, that's how they found out about Todrick being absolutely awful and trashing everybody, including every single houseguest, everyone who worked with him, his mother and even QoL Manila Luzon. He said the most vile things ever, was he aware he was live 24 hours? I hope he disappears forever.
 
Todrick Hall has canceled all of his scheduled interviews with the press following his loss at the Celebrity Big Brother season 3 finale on Wednesday.

Don't watch any BB but fascinated by this Todrick Hall drama. I had no idea he was this messy. That voting system is so ridiculous as well :D

How did he make it to the final if he was so hated? Don't the public do any voting at all?
 
I don't watch, but I believe US Big Brother is all based on the housemates (or rather "houseguests" :DAF:) voting each other out and the public don't vote. There's also one person that gets to be the "Head of House" each week and they pick who leaves? Or something like that.
 
The US format seems really geared towards encouraging gameplaying and backstabbing in a way that even the UK version at its worst never did, which is part of why I've never delved into it I think.
 
It's such a bizarre concept. Celebrities choosing to go and have millions people look at the worst versions of themselves is SUCH an odd PR move, and then you're basically just watching for the horror of it all :D

Then again, here I am enjoying watching Todrick Hall get his comeuppance for being a dick...
 
“Celebrities” is a very loose term. These are all at best d-listers

This is why it baffles me. Survivor is huge in the US (rightfully so) and is all about the strategy, alliances etc. Their BB just strikes me as exactly the same but set in a house rather than on an island? Weird that both (I think?) do so well…
 
GREAT messy week this week, culminating in this blindside eviction. Dreadful Steph was 100% sure she was staying :disco:

Also keep an eye out for hot mute tattooed man

 
For a 9-2 blindside, they did such a good job keeping it under wraps that poor rubbish Steph and her two sympathisers didn't see it coming (EVEN though 80% of the house took part) :D :disco:

I just caught up (watched all 8 episodes today!!) its a great cast! Quite pleased the hot mute won HOH because it could have been a dud week otherwise! Also every time i see Jess on screen i can't not think of Mayim Bialik in Big Bang Theory :D
 
Catching up with this, that Kyle HoH was the worst one ever, what a mess :D Finally a proper blindside, I thought we were not going to see one again, I don't understand why the house always has to vote with whatever the HoH decides, boring.
 
This season is so messy but in the best possible way.I don’t even know who I’m rooting for because there’s so many good characters!

I love how it seems to be quite fluid in terms of voting alliances (or is it!?) because I kinda get the vibe that the episodes may be edited way more than the feeds (but I also don’t want to spoil myself by delving too deep into Reddit).

Also I saw something mentioned on Twitter about this season and whether there was a POC alliance (much like the cookout) which I don’t think seems to have been explicitly mentioned!? (In fact I don’t even know what alliances there are anymore) but I certainly don’t get that from the edit.

@dUb @Alla @Haiku or anyone else following beyond the main show?
 
I only follow the episodes so I have no idea about any POC alliance, I won't dare checking twitter because of the spoilers. It is a mess and I'm liking it so far, way more entertaining than previous seasons.

This is the best BBCAN season in years (if not ever), everything changing from one day to another. I'm hooked.
