There was a stupid little task/stunt called The White Locust which is how Rachel was eliminated.
 
NAR : Rumor has it they paid her a huge check to come back to the show to boost viewership and there was never any plan to let her win.

Haley aka THOG (which the internet has dubbed her as her surname is Thogmartin) is such a fab piece of casting. Described herself as “bubbly” in her intro package while sounding anything BUT, and has been just about as unlikeable as possible, but completely delusional with it. She thinks she’s getting the fan-voted benefit this week when she is in fact incredibly unpopular and her IG has had to be deleted. 🥴
 
I do think she might struggle when she gets out but as a character on the show, rather iconic.
