Finally, onto Deadline For My Memories, this wasn't a single, but I absolutely ADORE IT.
 
Still Waters is working for me obviously. I live for this sort of heavy melodic shit.
 
Faithless would do stuff like this on their albums, bring it down between the full force anthems but keep it melodic and atmospheric. Reminds me of them.

I can never work out if she was influential, influenced or JUST THERE.
 
Still Waters is ludicrously mid 90s. that percussive rhythm that's a bit trip hop-adjacent, the ocean of reverb, the melancholic melodies... it's lush!

Listening to these you do have to wonder why she didn’t at least have a decent slew of hits. This is all very accessible AND she can sang.
