Anyway, I got through to my GP within a minute from opening this morning.

Now I've made a note of the buttons to press, I'll never have to listen to half an hour of dreadfully chirpy hold music.

A choice, yes a CHOICE of appointments.

That's a victorious start to the day.
 
Morning Moopy.

I'm off work today and feel the need to sit somewhere outside, in silence and talk to no one, and contemplate my life.

I'm also going to visit the little old lady I see.
 
What a FABULOUS SUNNY DAY here in BONNIE SCOTLAND. Maybe not quite time to pack the bikini away just yet. :disco:
 
I've got my gym stuff on but going and working out inside seems like a travesty.

Every morning, I get up at 6.30am, have breakfast and then leave to house and cycle to Pret (usually in Clapham) where I have a coffee and journal for 20-30 mins. I then go to the gym and am out of there by 10am meaning I either have time to myself before work or can enjoy the rest of the day.
 
When I was in year 8, I had to write an essay about animal cruelty in sport. I argued that dressage was fine as it only involves making the horses look pretty by doing things like plaiting and putting bows in their hair.
 
I totally misunderstood the sport and thought it was a beauty contest for horses.

Sounds wholesome. I’m allergic to routine though.

There actually is a sport where they do that. It isn’t in the Olympics though.
 
I went and visited little Freda. And the walk home in the heat was a killer. I am definitely one of those Brits that moans about all the weather.

This heatwave is also massively impacting our shop, with everyone just going to the beach :(

🤣 We did ice cream last year and it didn't really help much, if anything it was just more annoying. Plus there's an ice cream shop about 2 doors from us.

Maybe we're quiet because the whole island is supporting our fudge rival :o
