Good morning whores, and nuns if that's not your thing.

I fealt like a string puppet walking out the gym after leg, er, morning. The sun might not be piping up here (yet!), but it does feel a notch nicer now.

I bought eclipse glassed for the whole office months before so we could all stand out and watch it. It was easily the eeriest thing I've witnessed, all the birds just suddenly went silent at the same time.

The blood moon is just a normal full moon that's been given a name because apparently a full moon isn't a full moon any more unless it has a deliberately misleading name :D
 
The birds are still chirping away here and it doesn’t seem to be getting any darker :(

I have just watched a video of The Queen walking towards the planting of a rose bush in memory of Prince Phillip to mark his 100th birthday and she looks terribly frail. On This Morning they were saying how great she looks, and yes I know she is 95 and has just lost her husband but it seems to have really knocked her health. She has quite a hunch.
 
Mm too hazy here, I wondered if I would see anything odd just before sunset but no. A little more muted perhaps but the haze was there too so no idea
 
Of course its cloudy when theres an eclipse. Fucking wank country.

Do people just say she looks great because of who she is? Or did they mean she looks great for her age? Just wondering if people look past the obvious because she is The Queen?
 
Yup full cloud coverage here! It has gone quite cool though. Which is nice!

It probably won't, even in Northern Scotland only about a third of the sun will be eclipsed. It's only an annular one ("ring of fire") if you're viewing from the Arctic circle.
 


I should really post the video if I am asking for peoples opinions. I don’t think she looks “GREAT” at all.

She's 95 and on her own two feet without a mobility aid. That's rare enough to be "great" for most people.
 
My mum is 30 years younger than the Queen and has far less mobility.

Yes, I get that but it’s the first time I’ve really noticed her looking frail. She looks like she has lost a fair bit of weight, and seems to have stooped over. I know she will age like the rest of us but I must say I did think OH JUST STAND DOWN WOMAN.

I don't think she will but then I'm notorious for my inability to pick a winner so...we'll see.

Also good afternoon! I am spending most of today at my old flat as I attempt to "sort out" various "bits" and "bobs". Currently waiting for my brother to come and pick over the bones of my life for any scraps and also old towels and bedding :o
