So IF HE DOES DIE, do we know what happens? I guess Dominic Raab would be sworn in as a caretaker PM while the Tories vote for a new leader.
The gobshite Rugby lad who didn't even realise that Calais was kind of a big deal? Yep, sounds about right, although I'd much rather it be Mark Francois for the lols.

Common sense would dictate ushering in Rishi Sunak who half the country is harbouring a hard-on for, even if it leaves Raab punching holes in the nearest wall in rage, but I imagine Gove and Hunt are planning their campaigns as we speak.

Gove can fuck off. Raab would take over and any leadership election wouldn't happen until we are many months past the curve flattening.

Mark Francois is about as useful as tits on a haddock. It wouldn't even be funny, just pathetic.

Not saying I hope that it happens, but if Boris DEAD doesn't get the gammons to take social distancing seriously then nothing will.

I dunno, I was hoping her Maj would have sorted that without all THIS.

At least I could imagine Raab naked without wanting to die.

If you squint he looks like a Bel Ami pornstar with an incipient meth problem.

If Boris carked it, would it not hasten a national govt?

It's a good question. The scale of the Tory majority would make it unlikely but the desire of the Tories to shift blame would certainly be a factor.

Labour should steer well clear of getting involved with the government's plans which are disregarding the WHO's advice.

Lest we forget, Boris is out of the 7 day period in which you're contagious in the UK :)

Actually I do hope Boris dies, so more youthful sporting pictures of Nazi Raab start appearing.

I think Raab looks the sort who says "I'll go for one" and ends up starting a fight in a taxi queue at 3am.

I really suffered a bit of a setback last night when I read that he was in hospital - I absolutely hate the fucker but there’s something really unsettling about a situation that can even take out the villains. I hope he lives and goes onto develop a newfound sense of respect for the NHS that saves him. A naive dream but regardless, nobody deserves to die in the way that the virus is killing people.

He won't because he's the type of Tory who GENUINELY BELIEVES that CUTTING FUNDING HELPS because he's been brainwashed into believing that his entire life. The NHS will save him, he'll say how great they were, then will continue to ensure the workers live on a shoestring and the funding of the departments is the bare minimum, because he believes ideologically that is FOR THE GOOD OF THE COUNTRY.

He will never ever change.

I'd rather he never changed rather than died before he had the chance to reflect on the experience and then *maybe* change.

But, as I've said - this isn't a film script. There's no happy endings built in.

I'm not sure Boris is that type of Tory, though he has certainly surrounded by them. I've always thought that his ideology is pretty much just whatever is good for Boris.
