Hopefully it was enough for him to get some kind of resolution. Was the concert billed as all four of them?

On the plus side, Brian McFadden also appeared :basil:

Apparently there’s a second series of the documentary in the works and it’s following them on the tour so questions about Mikey will very much be answered then I’d imagine.

Yeah but it's still a 3-piece concert billed as a 4-piece

I’m not saying that excuses it, just that we’ll get the inside scoop on it presumably.

It's a bit cynical that they are saving the scoop for the documentary. Yes I'm aware of the irony.

They were on Sunday Brunch last week and said it's just 1 more episode

That poor boy has suffered and clearly is still suffering - I hope his health turns the corner for him and he can get to a good place. That documentary was savage.

Apparently Keith didn't acknowledge Mikey at any point during the show, unlike Ronan and Shane. It's like forum drama but in real life!

Are you a Dub, dUb? Niall Boylan is who I'm referring to, maybe you know him. Lucky you if you don't.

I think Mikey is the your garden variety PROBLEMATIC.

Jim Corr not so much. He's more focused on global conspiracies, rather than the usual immigration / "i don't like forenahs" stuff. Seems to hate ALL authorities equally, left or right.

Keith Duffy, on the other hand, is a lovely guy and a decent soul. What he lacks in talent he makes up for with heart.

I imagine the Bennett sisters have enough drama to fill a documentary without the help from that tattooed one.

'The Boyzone production was dominated by a screen pumping out the sort of doughy AI slop – clips of ā€œtribalā€ people, whales breaching, jungles and igloos, dewy forests and butterflies on tower blocks – you’d be disappointed to see on a wall-mounted TV in a dentist’s waiting room.

'This was an unforgivably cheap move for a band with stadium intentions.'

oopsie. Well I guess at least they don’t need to sell a tour out off the back of that review

ā€œA band needs an awful lot of charisma to pull off a summer-weekend stadium show, and on Friday, in north London, Boyzone’s distinct lack of it felt as huge and untraversable as the Mariana Trench.ā€

The few clips I've seen do look incredibly cheap - especially when you consider what Take That are up to in similar venues. Sad!

Mikey has been suffering massively with his mental health, a lot was revealed in the documentary. I was reading some of the comments after last night's gig and some are just horrific about the way he looks. No wonder he was probably hesitant to take a big part in these concerts.

The fact that he could come out of this in an even worse state seems almost unconscionable.

To be honest, I was too busy thinking how fucking ridiculous Ronan looked to take much notice of Mikey in the clip I saw.

Mikey retweeted this a few months back...

Reactions: dUb
we cross live now to Keith’s vocals

Why so much negativity dub? Shane has always been very religious so it's not surprising.
