Ms Ron bought me a snazzy electric toothbrush, ive always resisted them but to be fair my teeth do feel very very clean.

I cant get over the process for spitting out toothpaste mid brush though. If I take it out it sprays all over and if i dont i look like i’m dokng dental bukkake.

Not even sure this is a question. I just cant stop thinking about this new fangled way.

One day you are young and then your confused by dental hygiene

I use an electric toothbrush but still manually brush with it and I'm convinced I;m doing something wrong but just moving it slowly and letting the thing vibrate didn't leave my teeth feeling clean.

This is what I did last time I had one and was why I hated it. The slow thing just feels wrong

Well I've just spent the past hour listening to an album by The Boredoms, which has certainly been an experience
The Boredoms were a very up and down band for me - some great stuff, some piffle. Scoring the Japanese CD of Vision Creation Newsun for £1 is one of the highlights of my musical career, mind you.

I got one wher x way round dindins better good
Last 15 weeks don 1 million 200 50 thousand steps to half years go couldnt walk zimmer frame not bad 😂🤛🏽😮👍👊🏼🤛🏽😎😎😎

Ligers rawks

Leccy toothbrush user here, I also move the brush up and down and in circles when it's switched on and always have done. I wasn't aware you were supposed to just go slowly from tooth to tooth.

On the odd occasion I've had to use a manual toothbrush my teeth just don't feel clean no matter how hard I scrub them.

My car gears won't change. Had difficulty changing them on the motorway, but when traffic meant stopping it took ages to get it into first. Managed to chug up a wee hill by Strathclyde Uni and now waiting on an AA person. Missed my running club. Really hope the car won't need toed to a garage as I could always just pap into the powder room nearest Pure after the car has been hopefully fixed. With the engine off, I tried changing gears and it was fine, but tried again with engine on and completely stuck. Parked on a double yellow - hopefully #itwillbeok etc.

Sounds like a clutch issue and that means garage

Maybe I’m getting old but I like the manual scrubbing.
I received an electric toothbrush as a Christmas present two or three years back. Never touched it. I tried one out as a kid at one point and wasn't really a fan, just give me a manual one and some Listerine.

It was the clutch and he did whatever he did, so no garage thankfully. Went to the gym and hooked up with a guy there, so slings and roundabouts n' all that.

Watching last night's Celebs Go Dating. This one promises to be good based on The Chase guy seemingly heckling the judges in the previews.

I've just had the most ridiculously generous Too Good To Go bag from Starbucks at the railway station. I don't think the guy who made the bag up while I was there knew what he was doing. So much stuff, and everything in it has at least 3 days on it as well.

I don’t really do FB anymore, but the one thing I can’t give up is the Too Good To Go page and seeing what people get- half for laughing at people being annoyed with really shit bags and half with being obsessed with how much people get, mainly from Little Waitrose service stations, which appear to be the best.

This would have meant something different to me ten years ago…

I've never seen the Facebook page

We all get a crap one now and again, but that's a chance you take. I've never felt short changed though, even if I've not had what I fancied.

My disappointment is usually when you fancy something savoury from a bakery but get a bag of cakes.

I’ve had a “meh” but never truly awful. And yes, often end up with loads of cake but it’s easily freezable and lasts me FOREVER.

The FB page is often filled with “do you think this is worth it?” And it’s seven bags of wet lettuce and a soft brown bap. Usually from Spar.

I’ve not seen that particularly but it sounds about right.

“YOU’RE SAVING FOOD, IT’S NOT ABOUT CHOOSING WHAT YOU WANT FOR DINNER” is the most common moan.

I had a fantastic one from a deli here a month or two ago - it was the end of a joint of ham that took a bit of trimming and you couldn't really slice it, but enough to make a really good pasta bake and a pea & ham soup with, plus a couple of tubs of orzo salad, and three sliced loaves which went in the freezer and kept me in toast for several weeks. All for less than £4 or something. I haven't seen that place come up again sadly.

If I do have a QUALM, it's that the food I'm getting at bargain prices (when I can afford to eat at full price) is potentially being diverted from going to FareShare or homeless etc charities.

But realistically most of it would be binned otherwise, I'm sure.

I had a good cake one the other week, which was £2.99 I think. 8 cakes/ pastries and I just froze them all bar the cream one. We’ve been working them down slowly. All really good quality too.

The main issue I have with my local TGTG is that it’s mostly just junk food, which we don’t really eat. Not enough, like you say, delis or decent supermarkets have signed up. Hopefully that will change.

Yeah, so much of it ain’t going anywhere. It’s surprisingly difficult to donate food that isn’t wrapped/ protected too.

I think we have quite a decent range now - but it depends largely on where in the city you are (of course) and as I'm all over it with work, I do see quite a lot of variety.

Centrally it's certainly very cafe (and cake) heavy, though.

The Southern Co-op seems to be the only supermarket I see on it. One of the best greengrocers here is also on it every afternoon, but I've always fear of being presented with a box of aubergines when I fancied the heritage tomatoes and carrots.

You get what you’re given. You’re saving food, not getting what you want for dinner! :D

Co-Op here does it but does separate grocery and bakery bags and every time I’ve managed the former, they’ve cancelled last minute. I don’t really bother with bakery ones.

Morrisons gets slagged off for being appalling here so never done them either.

As I said, Little Waitrose and M&S petrol stations generally have reputations of being amazing- but neither local to me. Often £75 of food for £3.99 going on.
