voted only 11th in the Brit singles survivor last year, but how do we feel about this fabulously squelchy electro max track these days?

IS IT A CLASSIC? I actually think it's aged like fine wine. the whole thing just feels kind off the cut, first draft, unpolished in the best way possible. not overthought. just a banger that could really only have come to life at that specific moment in her career.

For ages I thought she was saying "Omg that Britney SHAMUS" (was that word a thing elsewhere?)

A banger and one that really wouldn't work in anybody else's hands.

It's quite unexpected how shit the music video really is watching it now after some years. I think at the time it must have been a miracle that there was even a semi-profesh video on offer.

I mean, when you're in a Blackout clusterfuck Radar is still probably a 10 due to sheer after-buzz of what's gone before and about to now ram more into you, etc.

on the rare occasions I THINK about these things I sometimes think Piece of Me is her best single after Toxic. it just feels fucking fresh, still, yet so insanely of the moment. her cadence on the verses is so cunt.

Blackout was so exciting. It genuinely sounded like the future. And Piece of Me is probably the most personal thing she ever recorded, despite being squelchy futurist CUNT. Not everyone has that.

I gave it an 8. I don’t love the song but I get the importance of it at the time. It’s not one that I actively try and listen to.

Completely wrong. Possibly the worst single she ever did?

I mean I was being dramatic. It’s still not her normal standard good though, and the weird chicken sounds give me the shits.
