their first song all in English - not as adventurous/exciting musically as some of their stuff but it's a smooth roller rink disco pop with a big chorus. I'm not sure how else I'd describe it, except to say that it's kind of like a song @dUb would recommend from one of his terminally unpopular obsessions, except good.

It’s alright, I wonder what the point is though, it’s a definite reach toward mainstream, but they were getting unthinkable transatlantic #1s already in Korean, I can’t see it reaching much outside their usual (but huge) fan base.

it’s a bit of a washed out copy of Bruno Mars & Maroon 5 for the TikTok era. It’s nice but didn’t have the crunch of some of their other stuff.

I delved into their GH last year and didn’t really get on board until “Run” and “Fire”‘s era, whenever that was. DNA is amazing though

It's streets ahead of the usual nonchalant shuffling around and hope for the best that we got from the likes of Blue and Five et al.

I can’t say I love everything Asian boy bands do, but BTS and some others at least look like they enjoy it. Boybands aren’t stigmatised like they are in the UK.

kpop videos are always so expensive-looking too , I love a big-scale music video

anyway Dynamite got 2 weeks with a #1 debut, not a lot of people have that
