Just paid off the balance of my Council Tax for the year because I couldn't remember paying the monthly installment at the beginning of November. Then I discovered I hadn't paid August's either in all the excitement of detached retinas and hospital trips. So I decided that I might as well pay the rest off and then I won't have to pay until April next year. Not even had any threatening letters about it which is most unusual for our council.
