I haven’t really engaged with this properly as yet but it sounds, you know, FINE. Based on initial interactions I think I prefer the Antidawn EP

I saw a tweet suggesting we should all start pronouncing Burial to rhyme with Muriel and now I can't stop doing it.

Oh I LOVE the new airy, spacious whale noise EP. Works perfectly with the frequent ETERNAL DOWNPOURS of rain London seems to be getting at the moment.

I still can't work out whether Burial was taking the piss or not on Dolphins however

Dolphins was amazing. Though maybe not worth the 4 month wait after career high CHEMZ.

I don't think I've paid any attention to Burial since the two albums, but damn "Phoneglow" is hella good. Those synths! That final leftfield turn! Want more.

I adore Antidawn, it is part of my rotation that I slap on at the vaguest hint of snow appearing outside.

Part of me quite likes the way he only releases EPs and 12"s but there's a part of me that really wants a proper full length album again.

I feel that Antidawn was kind of albumy. It is long enough! Plus not the usual Hyperdub artwork. In essence: it’ll do.
