Yeah our main road turned into a river for most of the day. The bus is currently using our road, which is kind of weird to see.

Anyone had any rain yet?
Yes, it started suddenly ten minutes after I hung the washing out and has been raining continuously for the last five hours or so. Washing is still on the maiden in the kitchen, nowhere near dry and there's no way I can put the radiators on as it's hotter than hell in the house. The rain did nothing to lower the outside temperature.

I might have to go to work in pyjama bottoms tomorrow because all four pair of jog pants (that I need to wear for medical reasons, don't ask) are on the maiden.

How warm has been in the London area recently? Because the island has been absolutely hell, and we have a slight sea breeze.

It's been quite unbearable! We've mostly stayed at home this weekend as there just isn't that breeze. Yesterday we only went out at 5pm to have our dinner in the park.

The heavens poured down like it was douching late last night and lasted just as long. It's rained nicely earlier this evening too. Sing it with me: this is cooling. Ahh, Bliss. I've got my fan on.

Just walked back from my mother's, detouring via the river park because it's perfect walking weather and it looks like it's all going to shit tomorrow. It's beautiful out now - about 20 or 21°C, I'd guess.

Just got in and the house still feels like a sauna.

Yeah I thought it would be pretty awful. It hasn't been much better here to be honest. I love the sun, but this is not nice
