Huff News is owned by Buzzfeed I believe, so I wouldn't be totally surprised if it went the same way.

Buzzfeed News was the best thing about them though. I'm not sure what their future can really hold - their non-news went down the shitter when they axed most of their staff in favour of user-generated tripe. Is there really much appetite for Penelope-aged-15 predicting your star sign based on your favourite Judy Nunn movies?

I seem to be able to avoid the Fail and Sin quite easily but that rag seems to have deals with all the portals, one of which is MSN, which I don’t use but of course my laptop DOES, and every time I accidentally click on the tab I get seventeen ad tiles of their nonsense, 99% of which are medical related, but in similar buzzfeed territory (“Guess which FRUIT doctors say you now NEED to eat if you want to live to be 80!!!!!!”) and (“this covid hack has all the doctors BUZZING!!!!!”)
