Taylor did already explicitly say she was voting for Harris/Walz with her childless cat lady post and Beyoncé spoke at one of the rallies.
Could go either way with Melania though. All to play for.

I don’t quite understand how this all works with the “voting early” stuff at actual poll stations away from postal votes. Why doesn’t everyone just pick and choose what day to go, if they can do it weeks in advance?
I still don’t quite get how anyone could wait hours in line to vote either. At least for me here, I don’t think I’ve spent more than 3-4 minutes inside a polling station.

I disagree. If there’s a lot of undecided voters, surely a day before post might reassure people to vote for Kamala - her reach goes beyond her fans who might have thought about Kamala, then started swaying?
I might be being naive but surely it wouldn’t hurt her to do it if she cares so much about the outcome?

How? She’s one person, and if you’re not a fan of hers for any reason, what does her opinion matter? Sure, she comes across and a nice and intelligent person, but so do a lot of people.

With Taylor Swift specifically, she had a measureable impact on voter registration. Those same people may need reminded to use the vote they registered for and who to use it on, so I think something more full throated from her would have been good.
And if Harris loses by hundreds rather than thousands of votes, I think it entirely fair for Swift to take personal blame for RUINING HER COUNTRY like she has RUINED THE CHARTS

You know, whilst I agree with that, it feels fucking snooty to sit there and assume the educational/ cultural background of people is enough to make an informed decision on their own.
I absolutely think Madonna’s politics in the 90s had some influence on my own- the difference being that I was intelligent/ interested enough to make that my starting point. For others, perhaps that’s not quite the same.
