Can we talk about PHONE SIGNAL?

To add to this ^ these days a 5G cell can theoretically serve a thousand calls at the same time, however your calls aren't always carried out by one. For reference a gsm cell can carry simultaneously 8 calls, which means the 9th subscriber will get congestion on their screen.

I’ve decided never to go with O2, just because they’re the #1 choice of scammers impersonating them.
I'm with O2. I get calls from random numbers every so often and I just don't answer and then google the number. If I was to pick up and get chatting to someone claiming to be O2, i'd just hang up, check the number again, and then ring O2 to make sure they weren't trying to contact me.

I've just been riding in Vauxhall and there's a massive blackspot there.
My office is in Vauxhall and the reception is fucking SHIT. And it's really annoying because the office internet BLOCKS MOOPY because it thinks it is pornography. :o

I've noticed an increase of this too with things like restaurant WiFi and when we went to Butlins the other week. Is it something to do with getting the .co.uk domain, or are providers just getting more stringent?

I mean, yes I do this also. It’s just quite weird that they are about 90% of the scam calls I get with people claiming to be with O2. It just makes it easier having never been or intended to be an O2 customer.

I also get O2 Priority access already through Virgin Media, so would be better to sign up to another network to see what offers they have (if any).

I've thought about this when I first came up against the block at work - my best guess is that there are probably a handful of NOF photos on the site? I seem to recall a thread that featured celebrity dick pics way back when - not like us to indulge in a bit of FAMOUSMALES FORUMS cosplay.

Also twice in the past few months I’ve had random numbers call me saying they’ve just had a missed call from me when I haven’t called them at all?!! What’s going on there?

Scammers

I find that I pretty much always have a 4G or 5G signal on EE, with Vodafone being a close second. Everything else is shit. Especially now they're turning 3G off, which SOME NETWORKS (cough, Three) were kind of relying on in a lot of places.

However in the city, often none of them are usable even with a good signal.

I never answer the phone anymore unless the person is in my contact list. If they aren’t they can leave a message or text me.

The worst is when my phone SAYS I have a full 4G signal, but like fuck it does. Absolutely nothing consistently in the same areas.

Exactly - I dont even answer to people I know half the time. Fuck answering strange numbers!

I answer just for a laugh. See what the scammers are up to these days.

And every minute of their time wasted on you means they aren’t scamming anyone else who might actually fall for it.

I used to enjoy that game but I ran out of routines that amused me.
