Carly Rae Jepsen - Dedicated (new album)

If Hannah Diamond and Kim Petras can come to Glasgow, so can this bitch.
 
She's coming back to Paris too, but I decided not to go. Last time was just ok, plus I genuinely believe she hated me.
 
The lack of awareness by her team as to how beloved she is is absolutely astounding!
 
I finally decided Julien is great. I think I hated it so much at first I never gave it a chance. But it's quite a beauty, isn't it?

And yet not close to the best this record has to offer. I'm really enjoying her again lately and think Dedicated is her best work.
 
julien really grew on me.

i like the album a lot but i wish there was a bit of an edit.

I now know why 2020 is so shit, the peak was seeing her live and it’s just been a car crash since.
 
I think Julien was the most instant OH YES! moment of the early stuff released from the album.

E•MO•TION still trumps Dedicated though, as much as I enjoy the latter.
 
Yeah I wanted to like Dedicated way more than I actually did

it pales in comparison to Emotion (and Side B) for me
 
I was supposed to be seeing her this week, obs the tour was postponed due to the virus but i was curious what she was promoting as she already did the Dedicated Tour a year ago in North America.

There's still loon speculation about a Dedicated Side B but since i still haven't even warmed to Dedicated as much as her previous offerings i'm sure how excited about an album of offcuts from this era i'd be.

Maybe by the time she reschedules she might have a new album on the horizon.
 
Let's hope it's better than the soupy mess of Emotion Side A! WHAT! Yeah I said it!
 
I'm not sure how much i'm here for side b, when side a was hardly the :disco: tastic feat I wanted it to be

I could cry right now, after the day I’ve had the thought of a new Carly album in a few weeks is the actual dream.
 
So here for Side B despite "Side A" being a total dud. I still love the delusional of loons claiming it's up there, or BETTER than anything from "Emotion" :D

Also before I get too excited how reliable is that twitter source?
 
i am not here for any bashing of dedicated. yes, it could use an edit but it's just as good albeit it came second so it will always be in the shadow of its magnificent elder.

i'm so excited, and i refuse to hide it, but she needs to step up her quality control and a whole 12 new songs already is giving me a bit of pre-traumatic stress disorder.
 
I see she doesn't seem to be mentioning this anywhere. Is this going to be a surprise release that everyone knew was coming? Rather that than it all being dreamt up by a bored gay somewhere obviously.
 
Including a tweet about Dedicated being underwhelming in her promo.
