Charli XCX - Sympathy is a Knife

Given recent releases, this song is in the public eye. I don't remember it being a particularly core part of BRAT summer, overshadowed by many of the other tracks on the album, but it clearly made a big enough impact on Taylor Swift that she wrote a response to it.

I like it, but it was never in my top tier.

The Ariana remix though was much stronger:

Love the Ariana remix but prefer the original version.
There's something so unsettling, fragile and intense about it. I remember my sister sending me DMs of it on insta when it came out telling me to check this one out. She was in tears.

far from my favourite on Brat in either form. I always preferred Everything is Romantic and felt it got unfairly slept on. I do like the way Ari's voice glides like silk on the remix though.
