Song For The Lonely needs its flowers in the UK.

[Voodoo]

Cher and Cyndi just wanna have fun.

[straightorbroken]

Oh Cyndi. Oh Cher. Kind of like a full circle moment after Cyndi duetted with her on If I Could Turn Back Time on Divas Live all those years ago now.

[Voodoo]

What a spectacular performance. Truly one of her finest rock moments. The powerhouse vocals, the elaborate staging, the sheer charisma. She was absolutely at her prime in that era.

I keep forgetting their isn't a CHER forum.

Anyway, a new nugget:

DJ, Angles and now this all permanent SorB Christmas GALA playlist mainstays.

I'm surprised nobody has marked her 80th birthday, which was this week!

[straightorbroken]

Oh please be the new album (or a film).

*announces new ice cream flavour*

Oh it's just another pressing of the Christmas album.

Interview from March 1982, so promoting Come Back to the 5 & Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean on Broadway (the film would be filmed in September and released December the same year), talking briefly on Raquel Welch falling out with her when her number was cut from The Cher Show (1975-6), the music industry and tattoos. It's a fairly subdued interview, but it's still Cher and what a fantastic moment in her career where it had endured without question and yet here she was on the cusp of making a major Hollywood breakthrough and commercial pop return.

[Jark]

imagine if she starred in an ALBUM CAMPAIGN for CHER! lazy bitch

[Joseph]

Grace will NEVER look anything but fabulous

[K.C.]

Yeah if there's a camera Grace will steal the show every time. 100% Cher slept through the whole thing.
