Lots of press articles building up to CLEA's comeback at Mighty Hoopla but nada after it happened, zilch coverage.

How come?

Did someone find Chloe's twitter likes that are the antithesis of everything Mighty Hoopla stands for?

Anti-trans

"Heartbreaking.. they are lost and confused. So sad. Praying for them to encounter Jesus — the one who Loves them and created them!"

"What are the kids into these days... glorified mental illness"

"Calling out trans women for pretending to be women and giving us stupid labels like "cis" doesn't make me an insecure woman."

More rightwing ideologies:

"7 of the greatest scams: covid, elections, feminism, Gender studies, ..."

Anti marriage equality

"You have NO power to change the God ordained definition of marriage which is a union between a man and a woman."

"Adam and eve. Enough said"

Going back further, lots of Trump likes

"This was a RIGGED ELECTION!"

"I WON THIS ELECTION, BY A LOT!"

And it goes on. I stopped at that point.

Worst of all was that time Chloe explained she was happy she didn't make it into Girls Aloud. Because she may have ended up dead like Sarah. Then she suggests Sarah's cancer and other illnesses are caused by unresolved issues in the past like not seeing your father and not forgiving people. Pretty unhinged stuff fueled by some nutty religious belief suspected. The original interview from 2021 has been taken down but here's the clip:

Obviously fuck her opinion but that’s a lot of effort for the opinion of a nobody.

Yeah. no-one gives a fuck, don't drive her engagement with Twitter links, she's just a basic arsehole with no career and consumed with bitterness.

The fact she INFILATRATED an event like Hoopla with such shitty views :manson:

Let’s have a nice bum note

Maybe looking out on a sea of gender non-conforming individuals (gay men in mesh crop tops and tartan ASOS minis) singing the words of [insert whatever song Clea did] back at her this weekend will have changed her point of view.

I can’t remember which one she was - she’s not Emma Beard or the gormless young one?

Thankfully we have this wonderful tripod site to answer all of our questions:

She always was the ‘problematic’ one - she took being voted off very badly and her family didn’t come across very well.

The other three seem like nice enough girls - Aimee, the blond one has carved herself a pretty decent career in music management and comes across really level headed.

I LOVED CLEA during their first album phase. It was interesting they were marketed very different to Girls Aloud, a bit classier and more serious but when that didn’t work and Chloe left they ended up changing completely and went all cheap and performing in Asda.

But Identity Crisis is a decent little album.

Who does she manage?

:D :D:D

I’d like to think that was an intentionally loving tribute to THE infamous early morning malfunctioning Sarah note.

I mentioned this on popjustice yesterday and it’s led to Chloe and the group (!) making their twitters private :eyes: and:

Got a reply from one of the girls (not Chloe)
Please know that we are taking this very seriously.
We do not share these opinions and we support and love the LGBTQIA+ community.
Please be rest assured that we are dealing with this internally.
'internally'
🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
Has the time come for a Pop Oversight Board?

They could relaunch as ALE in a few months with their first single being "Real".

I must applaud the other girls for acting on this. I’m guessing things went down quite badly between them. Chloe posted this yesterday.

The today she makes this post after the announcement:

They’re well rid of her.

The fact she called it an ‘oversight’ and then mentions she is a ‘follower of Christ’ and then posting she is ‘free’ shows she isn’t sorry at all. I feel for the other girls who must be really embarrassed that this happened and soured their reunion. They all seem like nice enough girls.

Chloe's next move: cover "Only God Can Judge Me (Head In Sand mix)"

Clea's next move: cover "To Make a Long Story Short (She’s Gone)"
