Chrimbo fregging eve wowzers

chrimbo FRIGGING eve has really tickled me. I think I don't feel very festive this year but at least I'm being WELL FED.
 
Had a moment of terror earlier when the gift card stand in co-op was empty. Luckily there another one.

I wonder if people do sync watches of previous years like we did with Eurovision?

That was a storming O Come All Ye Faithful. Always one of my favourites when we were at the midnight service - we used to sing it before midnight and then immediately after midnight, sing the last verse with the organ going at top bung. It's quite a sound, a full-size pipe organ.

Cook him a nice BEEF WELLINGTON for Xmas lunch with some mushrooms you foraged.
 
Mr Ag has bought me tickets to see Anita Doth (2 Unlimited), Tanya Evans (Culture Beat), the lass from Lasgo and Dame Kelly Overett of nox fame:



That's LOVE.
 
Just finished all the prep and parboiling.

Plus the last of the preprepared cocktails. 12 bottles of 3 different types. About £150 of alcohol, but I do have lots of half and nearly empty bottles of spirits and liqueurs to drink over the next week. :santa: :beer:

Blood Goddess - rum, cherry liqueur, vermouth rosso and a fruit syrup (strawberry, raspberry, pineapple, passion fruit and lime) DECEPTIVELY LETHAL

Amaretto sunrise (amaretto, orange juice, the same fruit syrup)

Nutcracker (vodka, white creme de cacao, amaretto)
