I want to like this La Roux collab. she sounds great but the production is a bit noisy. it's all a bit kitchen sink on the chorus, in a borderline unpleasant way...

I like Personal Effects but I feel like it's lacking their usual fun side... it's missing a bit of PUNCH.

After a couple of listens, I would say reliably enjoyable even if being shaved of a song or two would make for a tighter album.
