Following the huge success of Joan Collins being menaced by a dwarf and an evil baby last night, shall we have another? Yes, yes we shall.

Please join me this Sunday at 9pm for COB'S Creeper #2 - The Lair of the White Worm

On a farm owned by Eve Trent (Catherine Oxenberg) and her sister Mary (Sammi Davis), young archaeologist Angus Flint (Peter Capaldi) discovers a large and inexplicable skull, which he soon deduces belonged to the D'Ampton Worm, a mythical beast supposedly slain generations ago by the ancestor of the current Lord D'Ampton (Hugh Grant). The predatory Lady Sylvia Marsh (Amanda Donohoe) soon takes an interest in both Flint and the virginal Eve, hinting that the vicious D'Ampton Worm may still live.

Please note that this film is NOT officially available for free, but can be rented on YouTube and Amazon Prime for £2.49 (and possibly through a SHUDDER TRIAL via Amazon? I'm confused...). You also have the option of acquiring the film in any way you deem fit between now and Sunday, so see you then :emoji_dragon:
 
God just looking at that cover has me so excited, Amanda Donohoe is such a gay icon for me and it's entirely down to this film :disco:
 
Do not look up gifs of it, there are loads and they're all amazing but all best experienced during the film itself :D
 
I find it more funny than scary, but there are a few disturbing scenes - and I wouldn't watch if you're not a fan of snakes :eyes:
 
Tonight at 9pm! A reminder that you have until then to acquire the film - there are the rental options above, and if you google it you could probably find a torrent of information about other ways to watch :o

I have worked this out! If you subscribe to Prime Video, find the film on there and there's a 'watch with Shudder' button. Clicking this activates a seven day trial of Shudder which can be cancelled in your Amazon settings (and this film is included in what you can watch during that seven days). This might be a cheaper way to watch for some people, and it's how I'll now be watching tonight.

Oh, is it on Shudder? I should have checked that before I did something perfectly legal and fine.
 
Amanda Donohoe was utterly, spectacularly gorgeous back in the day. and god, by the time she got to the Emmerdale phase of her career she was so EXQUISITELY HAMMY. What a woman :disco:

Never seen it so very much in!

I don't think I know Amanda Donohoe for much except murdering him off Grease 2 in Emmerdale :D

I think she became known as one of those actresses who got 'em out quite a lot - there was some film where she was on a deserted island with Oliver Reed and she had some saucy nude scenes, I think.
 
A quick point of order for @ButterTart and others who may be watching on Shudder - I checked earlier and there's a surprisingly long STARZ logo thing before the film actually starts. I would recommend starting a minute or so early, pausing after this is over, then unpausing at 9.

Checked this again, it's fifteen seconds long. It felt like an AGE earlier for some reason :D
 
Oh yes, this is adapted from a lesser known Bram Stoker novel (AKA anything he wrote that isn't Dracula let's be honest)
