who knew that Madonna x Martin Garrix could be so fucking fabulous? if you'd asked me three months ago I would've paid you to keep this collab. it kind of fits in the current EDM landscape but also feels like a classic tune from the last decade - but the production is both classy and pop off-y, Madonna's vocals wistful and commanding (she sounds incredible on this one) ... it's just a high quality EDM banger. some have said this is what MDNA should've sounded like and maybe they're not wrong. I'd have taken it in the top 3 but #4 feels fair.

Fragile, is lovely despite the jarring lyric. I'm a sucker for lovely Madonna

Danceteria got tired rather quickly for me.
 
Madonna's Rapture for the win. Fragile must come 2nd. I Feel So Free re-activated vintage expectations for the album, but there are far higher price-tags in there and I will say one last time that vote to eliminate really did the sonic standouts a disservice.
 
Danceteria is the album's cork-popping moment. I would say I prefer the agonistic trance lapses of Everything and the pulsatron house thumping ripples of Love Sensation, but there's no denying it deserves to win this - it's an absolute side-splitting serve and in a more conventionally understood era of the charts would have hit the summit in multiple territories.

Love that Fragile had a good showing too - it's rooted in Miles Away fuzzy dream territory and yet its atmosphere-shifting rue balances the disco dance-as-survival celebration, finds a vein and symbollically heals the halt of her last 20 years if you ask me, a drowned and (fuzzy) dreamy world.

That analogy doesn't work on a few levels

That silly lady was actually a reason to vote FOR Brown

And here it gets us to FRAGILE which is ultimately a force for good. Vote FRAGILE. Danceteria EVIL.
 
I don't like this current trend of Danceteria revisionism. Just cuz you're bored of it doesn't mean shit.
 
Ok, so IFSF is not winning this. Though let’s not get it twisted when choosing between Danceteria and Fragile. Fragile is a cute girlie but she’s so out of her depth going up against Danceteria!

you confessed, you voted, you crowned. in the final Danceteria went head to head with Feel So Free and Fragile and emerged victorious as this gay chat lounge's favourite track on Confessions II. I've enjoyed the debate round by round and although it's not my personal #1, I do think Danceteria is a fair winner. put it this way - if it were #1 on the Hot 100 I'd be out bottoming in the streets as we speak, not wrapping up this silly survivor.

Fragile coming in second represents a stunning win for those who enjoy a heavy touch of of melancholy from the queen of pop. it's been a while. I love everything about it including that lyric and think the chorus is a glistening triumph. "you've been hurt beforrre" gives me all the feels. I definitely would not have expected Feel So Free to make it this far, but with the album out its appeal has only grown for me, not waned. a hypnotic banger with just the right balance of mystery and euphoric release.

The positions for L.E.S. Girl, My Sins Are My Saviour and Betrayal are deeply problematic. But who am I to be distracted by numbers?

Only major gripes are LES GIRL being so low, and Feel So Free so high blocked others from the top batch,

A lot of mouths need to be shut letting Read My Lips be top 10. You are not my favourite Confessions II track, never were.
 
What can you say about 'L.E.S. Girl' in this rate but "pearls before swine"?
 
Love Sensation doesn't shine as bright as Danceteria or Fragile but it's still a 10/10 gem. It won't make you cum because it's one half of a double penetration with Love Without Words.

School is a failed triple penetration.
