to me it really feels like the LEAST essential/interesting song got out of the way nice and early. so I'm glad for the placement. it's good but I don't think the album would suffer if I Feel So Free went straight into One Step Away.
 
It works where it is - i don’t know that i’d listen to it outside the context of the album. But then nor would I Metal on Metal from Kraftwerk’s Trans Europa Express for example.

11. School - I actually love the off-key production and this could have been an easy #1 - if not for the "school is in session" which instantly shoves this too far in the "fun-for-drag-race" category

16. Love Sensation - the most generic on the album. Could be any random #42 hit from the last ten years.
 
Biggest growers for me have been Betrayal, Fragile and My Sins are My Saviour. I think Everything has faded the most.
 
The ones I've gone back to the most are Bizarre, One Step Away, L.E.S. Girl and Danceteria.
I'm not keen on LOW, The Test, Betrayal and Everything (yet).
The only one I'm skipping right now is Read My Lips. I just find it a bizarre choice as this year's Waka Waka and don't think Madonna is a good fit for the world cup and its audience. Maybe the lyrics are her commentary on FIFA though (I don't believe a word that you say), in that case good for her.

I have been listening to the album but The Test was one of the songs I was less familiar with. It came on yesterday and for a moment I thought the album had finished and spotify had gone on to other tracks, it sounded really current and different, So I do like that one, yes its not a bop like alot of the others, but still impressive.

Like choosing between 15 tops and 1 messy bottom. I'm exhausted.
 
I’m finding I can leave either One Step Away or Danceteria on loop for a good hour whilst cooking or what-have-you and alllll good.
