No shortage of pasta at my Sainsburys Local here, I thought I'd give conchiglie a try for a change. Forgot to look out for toilet paper though.

No one is panic buying toilet paper here but there was a ZEWA SOFTIS megapack on sale today and thinking of this thread I bought one even though I have no need or room for it at the moment.:toyah:

I QUITE OFTEN DO ANYWAY
To be honest I alway do when I'm in the kitchen. Can't be arsed with another bottle to wipe around when there's a perfectly good detergent already there.

The increase is less today however, there were far less people tested. 3.8% of people tested today were positive compared to 2% yesterday.

As the late great David Bowie once said, the greatest thing you'll ever learn is to bareback and be barebacked in return.

Now go forth and fuck freely gays. Our time has come.

Local morrisons report: no handwash, limited supplies of toilet paper.

First time the locals have been clean since, well, ever.

Case confirmed in a school 15 minutes away from me. The whole school is shut for all of next week.

Lucky cunts.

No panic buying of loo roll in Barrow-in-Furness. But I doubt half of the people here wipe anyway. Liquid soap shelves empty but plenty of bars...

When I was a kid we used to go on PILGRIMAGES in the RENAULT 4 to ASDA in Barrow for the things that you just couldn't LAY YOUR HANDS ON in FINE FARE in MILLOM (and it used to take LONG ENOUGH to get THERE)

Reporting LIVE FROM BS5 they have toilet roll in Aldi

Does anyone need any sent by courier?

Local Sainsbury’s report here -

No toilet paper or dried pasta available at all
Just a few liquid hand soaps left
Limited packet rice with Tilda being all sold out but Uncle Bens strangely not
Sold out of ketchup but other condiments are available
Also oddly other non perishable things like frozen foods, pet food all available in abundance

Southsea now has no toilet roll or pasta either.

I have both so am not remotely bothered, but I’ll be tearing up OLD BITS OF HOOF with the rest of you soon enough, I’m sure...

I hope all the toilet paper manufacturers manage to produce enough for all shops to restock everywhere, so the hoarders are just stuck with it clogging up their living rooms for at least a year until they personally use it.

is it an unfortunate mix of corona and Brexit that tizzies people or are UK'ers just overly dramatic?

plenty of everything in the shops here, pm for shipments x

Aren't antibacterial soaps a bit of a CON, though? If you wash your hands thoroughly enough, you don't need it to be antibacterial, and if you use antibacterial too much, you just encourage resistant bacteria.

They're placing a quarantine on all of Lombardy. Currently in a taxi hoping to get a bus to Rome so I can fly home to Ireland.

This is surreal.

I'm sure traditionally the British prided themselves on being stoic and not hysterical. I blame the death of Diana. Historically no British person had ever cried before that.

Yes. They've been proven to disrupt your microbes as well (which are pivotal) because as it turns out some bacteria is good for us.

They're of course useless against Coronavirus, which is viral not bacterial.
