It's such small stuff like I can meet mates or my mum in the park for a coffee.

So I can see one other household outside for my birthday. Tremendous. Perhaps I can just repeat that 20 times over the course of the Easter weekend.

I do hope that number doesn't include young children, when you start counting 1 year olds then larger families still can't really meet anyone else

From what I can gather, the “two households can meet” rule is an unlimited number, rule of six will only apply to meetings of more than two households.

Cue lots of huge birthday parties where everyone pretends to live in two communes.
 
Do large families really need to meet all at once? I suppose it should really be unlimited as you could have a family with two households of six people each, so the rule of six would be impossible for anyone to visit the other.
 
As much as I'd love to see my parents and will take advantage of being allowed to, I think I've actually preferred the rules being as cut and dry as they have been, with it simply being "don't go anywhere unless it's essential" (but appreciate the drab weather has helped). I really don't think I have the energy for another round of working out what constitutes a household/bubble/essential visit and whatever else they want to add to it, nor do I have the energy to be stuck in the middle of people tweaking the rules to suit them, ones who are following them to the letter, and ones that don't really get them.

Just wake me up when this is all over basically.

A day before my birthday! Looks like I get a PINT! (If our pub bothers to re-open... they do have a substantial beer garden but you know... April showers...)

Of course, this near guarantees non-stop rain from 12th April until the next phase

Indoor entertainment (guessing that's Cinemas!) and some indoor events of up to 1000 people (or 50% capacity) are in step 3, so May 17 (at the earliest).

Well if all goes to plan then our wedding can take place after all! But I'm not pinning hopes on a 21st June reopening at all. Especially if the vaccines aren't even planned to be rolled out will 31st July.

12th April is my birthday! Maybe I'll book the day off work and go for a coffee with a bench. :disco: I'm glad they're starting the reopening on a Monday this time rather than encouraging everyone to rush out on a weekend.
 
Full return to normality from the end of June is kind of terrifying tbh.

Really can’t see me socialising indoors with groups until i’m vaccinated.
